Associats like numeraries do not get married (stay single for God) but they do not live in centers of Opus Dea but in their own homes. Very good ordinary people who want to be dedicated lay catholics are members.
If you have the honesty to meet some people in Opus Dei and get to know them, you will find out that they are not secretive at all. They are not monks or nuns, but ordinary people in the middle of the world who are seeking to follow Christ closely. This is done through ordinary life and ordinary work. Very simple, not sinister at all.
well some are. Remember that violent albino dude? I am talking about that documentary they made about Opus Dei a while back; I think it is called The Davinci Code"
@@coingalleon that wasn't a documentary it was a fictional work. That said there are many people who've supposedly been members of Opus Dei who've come out stating it is a dangerous cult. That said there is always the possibility that these people are lying. Still their views can't be entirely ignored, because we simply don't know for sure what the truth is, so all views have to be weighed. Many in Scientology claim that Scientology is completely friendly and benevolent, but I would argue it's foolish to ignore the many people who've left the COS claiming abuse. Also the person above who claims they aren't secretive may themselves be fooled, after all if they are secretive then they might not want you to know that they are keeping secrets. A book recently came out linking Opus Dei to attempting to control world politics, and to a currently existing slave trade. This may sound like a conspiracy theory, but I have to give it at least a modicum of credence seeing as how this wouldn't be the first time the Catholic Church has attempted to have as much political control as possible.
Of course not. He's trying to paint Opus Dei as some clandestine organization and that is far from what Opus Dei is. This guy has never experienced Opus Dei and it shows.
@@GiftofChaosStudio you are right,I've never experienced, but that can't stop me from speaking about it. Painting Opus Dei as a clandestine organisation is not the goal in the video, that's for sure. It is about the enigma that Opus Dei brings being different
@@HistoricalWhispersYT no, I can't stop you. However, you will encounter resistance when what you clqim is outlandish. You don't try to paint them as secretive and clandestine? Why Roman Catholics practised such doctrine which is not found in the Holy Bible? It demonstrates that Roman Catholic denomination is not complete Christian.
There is no secrecy at all with Opus Dei. Holiness in ordinary daily life. The confusion that exists among many laity is that the measure of holiness relates to how like a priest or religious one can become. What's got lost in the confusion is that marriage is a sacrament. If one is married, holiness lies in being a husband and father, being a wife and mother. There is no secrecy in Opus Dei, and the miracles of conversion to Christ are most encouraging. Scott Hahn, Kimberly Hahn, Jordan Peterson 's wife.
Why is the narrator espousing such bizarre pronounciations of common words? Is it a robot or computer generated voice speaking? Whatever it is, it makes the video unwatchable. Why the deceptive title... given that there is absolutely no coverage given to Jorge Bergoglio's position on Opus Dei? Strong THUMBS DOWN for wasting people's time!
I assure you that the narrator is not a robot voice, this is his accent. I really thank you for the feedback 🙏 and for your thumbs down,it helps a lot. I hope on the next one you will come with the thumbs up
My cousin was a playboy, he entered the opus dei and he quited that life and became a father of his 4 children and we are all proud of him. Any organization has flawed members but the balance is positie for many.
Why do you link it to Pope Francis in the title? An attempt to denigrate him in the eyes of those who do not see the hollow content of the video as regards its title? Your future videos will have no place in my viewings.
I really accept your critics. It's not about the Pope himself,it's about what he represents, the Catholic Church, this is what the video is about. Hope you will reconsider about the future videos
