    I saw this video in our school cafeteria. I couldn't hear the song but the video looked interesting enough that I copied down their name. Now, I can't get enough of this band. Best band in the world.

    It's all about image and message. Pretty boys like Justin Bieber and One Direction (don't even) write talentless, vague songs that make girls fall in love with them, and the party writers like Katy Perry make people believe they'll be fine as long as they don't focus on bad things and just have fun.
    Then you have artful people like this who get swept under the rug because people just don't wanna hear it. There's no image to push, and no party mentality, so it's not widespread.

    Only three comments and 502 views?? Wtf, world? I've been looking for this video for about a year. I liked the animation style for the most part, but the scene when he was running across the battlefield looked pretty damn cheesy. Was this supposed to be like a storyline combination of a bunch of different songs (the poison woman, the tank, the thief)? I don't exactly know the story, so I have no idea.

    Is it split up into acts because a story is happening or is it just an artistic style?

    • @shiyo4758
      @shiyo4758 7 лет назад +5

      It is a story split into 6 acts. This song is part of the 3rd act.

    • @The_Death_Owl
      @The_Death_Owl 7 лет назад +1

      Taylor lothery the music video for this song however mashed up the story for act 3 in one video (minus Hunter killing his father)

    I agree, there's nothing wrong with songs that people can dance to. However, it's very insulting to the art of music if people only care about a song or artist because of an image they give off, rather than the content that is put out. That's all those people are; an image. And once their popularity dries up, they'll be replaced.
    I find that incredibly insulting to musicians who work their asses off to put out meaningful compositions and to the art itself.

      It's basically a visualization of the story of Act III from "What It Means To Be Alone" through "Mustard Gas"

    • @guitarwally1
      @guitarwally1 7 лет назад +2

      Depends on what you mean with the question:
      Is the story told in chronological order?
      Is there a live show where they play all the acts?
      Is there a video where the whole story is played out?
      What do you mean?

    • @simsik4149
      @simsik4149 6 лет назад +5

      HotDogMan
      It actually covers Saved too. The boy is knocked out from the Mustard Gas and flashes back to memories in his life while an unseen character (The Son) carries him from the battlefield.

    Act III is very good (The Thief is the best song on the album to me)
    Act I is decent (1878)
    Act II sucks (Why couldn't all the songs be as cool as The Lake and the River?)
