  • A cracking walk up Cnicht from Croesor. Parts of the walk are very swampy so gaiters are recommended.

    It is an epic walk. You took the slate trail track back down from the mine. Just above you along the side of Moelwyn Maw is the main circular walk path back down from the slate mine.

      Thanks, I wasn't aware that was part of the slate trail. I'll have to do the full walk some day. 👍

      @@OutandaboutwithSpencer No worries. I clambered up Cnicht yesterday. Enjoyed it enormously. Lots of interesting parts to the trek up and never a dull moment. Although, I did feel a bit silly when a fell runner ran past me in the hollow below the buttress just before the scrambly bit🤭

      😂 I'm quite deaf, and I've nearly jumped out of my skin a few times when a fell runner shoots past me! 😂👍

    Great video Spencer, we watched your video the night before our walk up the Cnicht your video made it so easy for us no mistakes, we like the way you narrate your go-pro videos, you dont rabbit on about rubbish like some do you talk about the very important information people want to know such as where to park where to go etc, keep up the good work Spencer, if we are not sure about a walk we always check your channel to see if you have done the walk, many thanks Spencer.

      Out and about with Spencer Those shots on the other side of the valley looking back the Summit were impressive. We didn’t cross the valley we scrambled down the shale and scree. Great Mountain 🏔

    Excellent walking territory , usually the case , thick mist when you reach a summit , then it clears when you have left

    Your videos are great and informative. Croeso'r is hardly the most difficult Welsh word to get
    your head around though. It seem a shame you dont bother to learn
    how to pronounce the names of the places you obviously love

    • @OutandaboutwithSpencer
      @OutandaboutwithSpencer  3 года назад

      Thanks Dave, how do you pronounce it? I asked a Welsh friend and he said it wasn't a true Welsh word but a made up name. I do try and pronounce places correctly but obviously get it wrong sometimes. Thanks for watching. 👍
