Great video Bossk id love to see more videos like this. Reminds me when Glenn Web used to do action figure evolution. Still can't believe he's gone... RIP brother.
Absolutely love your Bossk collection, l met Alan Harris back in Nov 2001 at B'ham memorabilia and got his autograph on a beautiful black and white photograph from ESB. l also got Jeremy to sign it as he was there to. Alan had the actual Bossk head he wore in the film in a glass case and talked to me for a few minutes about it, can't believe l didn't have a camera with me, he was such a gentleman. My favourite bossk is and always will be the original 1980 but l do like all of them. I have the original, the potf2 and archive black series Bossk. Where is TVC Bossk, c'mon Hasbro. Keep making the great videos 👍
As far as I know there were at least 3 more releases of Bossk: one came in a SAGA battlepack and is actually a variant: it is the POTF Bossk without the emblem on his shoulder. Later there was a 7-pack (TSC I think) with Vader and the other bounty hunters. Lastly there was a re-release of the VTSC Bossk in the Legends line. I think you need that SAGA variant for sure! Great upload as usual 👍
I nave the Saga Legends Bossk SL01, and it's every bit as nice as the one you say could be used in the current Vintage Collection, but "wish it had wrist articulation". It may be the exact same sculpt, as his uniform has the same hanging straps, and he has the same nearly fully articulated. But I personally prefer the paint job on the Saga Legends SL01 Bossk.
Fantastic video! Great 👍 to see the evolution of Bossk from the Vintage to the modern era! Great idea 💡 for a series! If you need photos or video clips I am sure the community will be happy 😃 to support you!
Great video, BB! I hope this becomes a regular series covering other figures. I remember your fellow countryman, the late Glenn Webb, used to do an action figure evolution series on his channel for Marvel figures. I loved those. It’s fascinating seeing all the iterations of a figure over the years in one video.
But I also think that his JUMBO GENTLE GIANT incarnation is an absolute beauty of an action figure. I have purchased that one myself & it graces the sight of my eyes daily & enhances the quality of my life day by day. I really support very strongly the idea that you should add it to your Bossk collection. But-of course-it's a free world. 😄😄😄😄😄😄
@@BossksBounty Love your Bossk comparison vid anyways. I always give your vids thumbs up. Best comparison vids are from RUclipsr SOCIAL DISTANCE WARRIOR. Do you know him? If not: be sure to check them out!
You can never have too many Bossk’s in the collection but my favourite is the 6” TBS figure which i have signed by Alan Harris (TESB) & Trevor Butterfield (ROTJ).
BB awesome video as always Bossk has a special place in my heart as I got him from my Nan for Christmas when he was first released back in the 80's. I still have him to this day.One of most treasured figures. Wasn't aware of the clone wars version that came with the Jango Fett Slave 1. I had to look it up. It is from the Clone Wars series not the Shadows of the Empire series. I have a SOTE collection and have the Slave 1 from that series. So when you mentioned it I thought OMG there is something I don't have in my collection and I need it lol. Keep up the great videos . Between you and Only One Kenobi . You guys are just awesome. As I said to OOK and I say this to you . Your videos are informative / inspiring and we are just all jealous of your collection . Keep the videos coming.
Thanks for this review. A Bossk figure I still regret for not buying is the Legacy one. I had the opportunity to buy him, new, carded, for around 5USD when he was in stores. At the time, I was unemployed, and in the package he didnt look so good. At the time, I also didnt had any opportunity to look him up on internet until I got home. There I found a review online that changed my mind, so I decided to get him, but off course he was gone from the store shelf... 😭 😄
The Hasbro 'Hero Masher' figure is quite nice aswell and is one of the better looking figures from that weird line that I don't really know much about.
Love me some Bossk! Awesome underrated character! The original 1980 version, the flat brown colored paint version is by far the most scarce to me. They're a few more glossy brown kind, but flat brown seems like 1st release. Most are glossy dark green kind. Came later.
I had bossk in the 80s. And got a couple of original bossk figures one in cap 2 one with the empire strikes back bounty hunters and a potf bossk. And the 5 pack bounty hunters set still in the box
The one at 5:35 is such a beautiful figure and probably one of the best sculpts i have ever seen. The face is so great that is not so hard to get expression in toy photography, the only thing i would change is give him the Bo Katan leg articulation.
I didn't realise there were so many different versions of Bossk, although I do agree with you that they need an updated version in the VC. Great video mate, I learnt a lot 👍
What a great subject BB! Bossk always has been and always will be my favorite bounty hunter - even over Boba Fett. It is amazing that I only have my original one that I got in 1980. Need to get more like you have!
Great video. Congrats on 5 years on RUclips. Question for next week: When will we get a retro collection Bossk? Maybe an Amazon exclusive like IG-88 & Dangar? Maybe a 2 pack with Bespin Han?
The Kenner original is still my favourite (got him from Target in '81 or '82?). Has one of the most stunning card images (imo) from the STAR WARS Kenner lines.
Bossk is just an amazing Figure in all ways :-) Also looking forward for a new release since I just started collecting my bounty hunters view months ago :-D
Your animated Bossk figure is missing the hose that goes from it's stomach to it's back and for some reason is holding the blaster that came with the VOTC Bossk and not the animated version of this blaster. I hope you can attain those accesories and have proper complete figure. Btw the blaster that comes with the VOTC is a repack from the one that comes with the OTC but with a painted strap.
That 1997 Bossk was a sea change figure for the entire POTF2 line. There was definitely more of a focus on realism and screen accuracy after that figure. Do you not own the 12” Bossk from 2000?
when people talk so much shit about the muscle bound potf2 line they are really only talking about what like 4 figures in the whole line? All the aliens from that line were spot on! There were many great figures from that line, the thick chest was only on like I said 4ish characters!
In your opinion and anyone else that sees this comment today i got blue line series bossk and i wanted to know which is better between that one and the archive figure
Not sure if you have any interest in it but there is this weird oddity Bossk on mercari right now Mexican figure. Check it out and tell me if it is anything to right home about
O if your g o a l is to someday have all the figures in package be sure to track down them toys or us bounty hunter set with a u o r a sings it's freezer bike and b o p a and i g a n I'm not too sure but there might be a slight difference in pants on that b o s s k
Well done! You should do more of these "Evolution of Character/Action Figure." Rock on!!
I must agree more videos like this would be amazing! Boba, Luke, emperors, troopers, guards, jabbas, you name it great video!
The interesting thing is that all of Bossk’s figures were great for their time. 😊
The Bossk Figure from power of the force 2 was an amazing figure in those days! May have been the best figure of potf2!

I love POTF 2 Boosk, but the evolution of Bossk stands the test of time, great one BB

This video was long overdue on the internet! Thank youuu
LOVED THIS RETROSPECTIVE, I know Bossk is special for you but you should do more of this videos
We need a Bossk spin off on Disney+, or a bounty hunter spin off might be the way to go.
Great video, buddy!

Nice video. I love those pre TVC figures with clamshells. I'd love to get the "toxic" version Bossk but that is really pricey now.
Cool video Tim. Love the prototype 1997 one
Great video Tim!
Cheers man

Nice video. (Hasbro's 12" Bossk could've been a nice addition as well.)
I did thank about that, but I feel they are bordering on being dollies
Very enjoyable video.
I used to have that POTF2 Bossk. At the time it was a decent figure.
None of them you could say were a bit crap, some really excellent figures there. Touc wood we’ll get him again
i hope hasbro will release one soon, i have custom a bossk by using other 375 figure,

Your thumbnail. That’s a tee shirt!

Do you not own the 12” Bossk from 2000?
Did you manage to add the potf2 12 inch Bossk to your collection?
Yeah I have that. I didnt include it as its more of a doll lol
That bosk is never going to be better. Maybe a 6.5and a quarter. But no more than6.6!😛
I have a toxic limbs. Been meaning to grade it for years. Probably an 85+
Would love to see it. Stick it on Instagram and tag me
