Mazi, hill, bossman fat, schoon, taco and so on. We have missed as many 1st & 2nd round picks as we have hit.
These are probably the years they let jerrah draft
Thank you Lord for allowing me to be old enough to see the cowboys win wayyyyy back in the day.
Amen, brother. I'm right there with ya.
It’s looking unlikely to see it again bro
Agreed
Man what happened shit
Opponents have schemed both Micah and Cee Dee out of games while on their Rookie contracts. How will $30 million apiece per year and less talent around them improve either side of the ball?
Cee Dee just had his best season of his career. They haven’t schemed him out of the games yet. A few random half’s maybe but nothing consistent enough to be worried about.
Which football games have you been watching.. The only real argument is why they didn't get CD the ball more and it wasn't because he wasn't open. they haven't been able to shut him down yet
This could be the stupidest comment I’ve ever read
There were at least a few games where Micah was neutered by the scheme and it worked.
@@IwatchFilmsometimes he was double and triple team, can you do better smh.
I hope I speak for all Dallas cowboy fans.. we are just tired of the Jones family not saying what they really want to do, they try to make it about PR instead of being honest to the fans.
If I'm being completely honest, I'd rather they not say anything like other GM's.
I would not be as mad, but to say "All in" and then do the exact opposite...inreally think they fill like we are idiots and will believe whatever they say.. thats richsplaining***
I feel the same way
Sad but so true...
You had me at “tired of the Jones’”
@@lss-jprep4980
I laughed to much when I read this ..lol 🤣
I’m only mad Jerry re-signed him. We need to move on. We can’t do much when both Lamb and Parson might cost $30 million a year. We just don’t have the cap space for everyone. Keep Lamb and trade Parsons and Dak
Every day something new with the Jones’s
I like the Raiders trade deal suggested, except for getting Aidan O’Connell. I would rather have another pick or player instead of O’Connell. To me O’Connell seems like a long-term back-up, at best. Who needs him as part of the deal?
Yeah we want max Crosby
Get O Line and a LB top notch
Someone PLEASE propose this to the Raiders. Would be the best trade since Herschel.
GO COWBOYS!
Can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not at this point
@@genarocabrera9408 I’m all in sir! I’ve been here since 1966, through good times and through bad times just like families have…
Have been here since 1975 not going anywhere. Better than any soap opera that my wife watches.
Go nowhere Cowboys!
@@theknickerbocker5808how do I get a circle with the star?
“Negative news”? No such thing from management perspective.
Trying to build like the Chiefs is like trying to build like the Bulls in the 90s.
They have a legend as a star player, a legend as their second best player, and a legendary coach. Let’s forget what the Chiefs do and build according to what we have going on.
Amen dude. Look who has won how many of the Superbowls in the past twenty years. Guys like Brady, Manning, Brees, Roethisberger, Rodgers, and Mahomes. Those guys are ALL TIME GREATS. Yes, there have been a few here and there that werent, but guys like Flacco, Dilfer, Johnson, Russell, and Eli, all had STACKED defenses.
Dak has been frustrating, but the likelihood of finding better, or finding a Mahomes? Lol, thats almost IMPOSSIBLE.
So true. And that's why we can't pay him like Mahomes and build a winner.
The trade for us would be aan ideal situation jerry and stephen are not about winning as we know though.
They have never done Dak right anyway waited to the last moment to sign him and trying to do it again and never put enough talent around him because they think they are smarter than everyone else.
Talent Dak has been spoiled with talent he just can’t handle the playoffs cowboys are just hoping and praying 🙏 if Dak goes to playoffs again he’ll be ready after losing year after year
Pick a year name 4 quarterback’s that had more talent around them dak I bet you can’t
@@dakdelusionalfanswithmoree4856 Pat has kept talent around him his whole career Mathew LA Philly Hurts Josh Buffalo Lamar Baltimore all have had way more talent around there quarterback
@@chuck7072 name the year you referring to
Truth
Go cowboys this could be a sneaky Goodyear not expected to win I always love that 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
I think that deal is out there but Cowboys ownership is so flip floppy right now.
Dak has No Trade Clause. He has to want out for it to happen
That’s right, so trade him to a team that will give him a huge contract and he will agree to
#DallasCowboys Go Get Mekhi Becton !!! Lineman Free agent
Brilliant and the closing sums it up perfectly. Why agree and limit his options if Dak can choose (including staying in Dallas if offered) in a year.
why can't we trade the owner and his family?????
Excellent content and solid takes as always Fish
I really wish Dallas do this deal. We would definitely love it. Come on Jerry
They aren’t giving up that much for Dak
He has to waive his no trade clause first
Youre not getting a 1, 1, a 2, 3, and a 4 for Dak.
Thats insane.
Thanks Fish for all the commercials
#DallasCowboys Go Get Mekhi Becton !!! We can not pass on him
I hope overshown is gonna be 100% and working wonders for us. I was looking forward to him playing for us before his ACL injury. I think that would be amazing with him behind mazi smith. Then offense would have a lot to deal with. Especially with Lawrence and Micah. Wonder who they are getting for DT?
Is everyone forgetting there's a no trade clause in his contract
I keep thinking that too
Only if he agrees to it. What a dumb contract for Jerry to agree to
No trade only means Dak has to agree.....Players are traded all the time with "no trade clauses"
There is a no trade clause but the player can waive it for the right deal/team.
He can wave that if he agrees to the terms.
Im not ready to throw away a player who has the ability and desire to win big for this team.Lame duck season or not Id like to see Dak back for the attack. Here we gooooo😮
I’m with you brotha!✊🏾
teams win or lose in the trenches. a superbowl has been won with pedestrian qb's or pedestrian rb's or wr. But you gotta be able to keep the other team from scoring a lot and you have to be able to move the ball consistently.
"You find your Brock Purdy... You find your Jalen Hurts" ... lol, neither has won a SB have they? We keep moving the goal posts.
They've both won more playoff games than Dak in far less chances.
@@mml3140 Once more, a low information football fan. INDIVIDUALS don't win anything in football. I only cited what those two haven't won, because our low info fans keep clamoring for playoff wins as though it all depends on one person.
@rcaldw Good job with the generic strawman argument as if it's your eureka moment of insight. Everyone knows the bs you just spewed. But the "reality" is no position has more immediate direct and dependent impact than QB. Dak is a loser come playoff time. Those other guys are winners. It's not rocket science.
Agreed FISH 🔥
If the Raiders offered ANYTHING CLOSE to this, That would be fantastic. It would be like the Herschel Walker trade
A running back is like a quarterback. Doesn't matter how good you are without a line.
Unless you're Barry Sanders.
@@gritter781 Well, Barry Sanders hold the record for most yards lost.
@gritter781 Barry had a really good line and two of the best in the league in front of him lol.
Moreso the QB. RB make lines look better and allow them to take control. It's more common that a RB makes the line look good. It's a misconception , look at all the great RB and their lines. Basically across the board they did great regardless of who was in front and guys suddenly become great lineman when a top flight RB shows up. Happened in Dal/Emmitt,Faulk,LT,OJ etc.
It doesn't matter to me as long as he is gone. And good luck to any team that picks him up your gonna need it.
Uncle FISH is right again
If Jerry would be quiet, like the other owners, it wouldn't be so draining. But like you've said b4 Fish, Dallas is a billion dollar franchise that plays football as its part time job.
Is Martavis Bryant still in play?
NO
We still have Cooper and Lance at the quarterback position. Dak should agree to a rumor trade deal. Win for both sides.
The issue for me is they haven't been good in either realm. When Dak was on his rookie deal they didn't spend. They slow played his first contract and now they are doing it again. They aren't trading Dak. They will resign him when it has no impact on building to win.
Yes,this is ,Raiders trade for Dak is best considering everything
At that weight it would only take 4 to blow illegal but he wouldn't necessarily be impaired
Why would a team trade all those pick for a player that going to be a free agent next year,I would just wait
If someone, and it won’t happen, offered that for Dak I’d jump on it in a heartbeat.
Then you draft a complimentary RB in the 7th or 6th round
Draft the best OL player in the 1-3 rounds and take RB & LB in the later rounds. A solid OL especially if they can get a premium Center, will get you an average of 5 yds per carry!!!
Only if your qb can play from under center. Ours can't.
@@timothyarnold1679 I’m done with Dak! He has shown he can’t win big playoff games!
They should trade down for another day 2 pick
You had me at 13th and Aden
Just my thought but when was it that you paid a top notch QB big time money and they delivered a SB title 2 Tom Brady and Pat Maholmes and what do they have in common both took less money to help build a better team around them
As a Raiders fan ee will take Dak thanks
As a Cowboys fan, I could not blame you. The dude is real good. It ain't up to me. But I would hate it worse if he's going to be a lame duck this year. I'll pull for him no matter where he goes.
If you get him you might get one playoff win. Don't expect more.
He's good in the regular season. Blows chunks when it counts. Take him
He’s only good against weak teams in your division.. good luck 👍🏾
Would love to see yall take him off of our hands.
Minshew is the starter in LV.
That’s a good one Danny trade, Dax brother
I predict the Cowboys in '24 will make far more news off the field rather than on it. The Jones' are not going to be around much longer (and I hope they live to be 110) but they want to prove they can blow it all up, hire a great coach and get it done "their way baby". Sadly, they are living in the past and football has passed them by.
Dude, Stephen probably has atleast fifteen more years in him lol. The Jones problem isnt going away anytime soon.
Even if Dak would do it, Raiders are not giving up that much
If someone offered you three first round picks, a second and a third. Maybe building around that guy instead of trading him is a better option.
Been doing that for eight straight years. What’s the definition of insanity? doing the same thing and expecting different results
I hope this is true
Dak is worth about 2 Dodge Rams and a pair of boots, he is done in Dallas
Do THE DEAL WITH THE RAIDERS
He has a no trade unless dax said ok and he holds all the cards
Ya I hate that the media tries to say these draft candidates are supposed to be perfect error free people. They are gifted at football people not being a saint
Morning FISHERS and cowboys nation
Fish, Purdy was a 7th round pick!
When this team came out and laid an egg on the golden platter the second playoff seed was given to them on last year , Jerry got pissed. He's squeezing everybody's balls a little bit now, and I don't blame him one bit. Let every single person on this team sweat. They all deserve it, from the head coach to the water boy.
These clowns aren't sweating this. They are all getting paid.Jerrah is doing what jerrah does.
@@knifelyfe6565 they certainly are sweating. Getting paid is one thing, but these guys like attention and they like luxury. You can be getting paid by the most visible and sought-after franchise in the world, or you can be getting paid by the Buffalo Bills with slush running down your ass crack in November. It's a privilege to be a Dallas Cowboy and Jerry is finally flexing that muscle. Jerry has had enough of being bent over and getting no results. Time to put up or shut up.
history says cowboys will resign dak as for ceedee and micah one or both could be traded.
I have been a loyal hard core fan for 60 years, and I am at the point where this apathetic, penny pinching, dumb way they throw this team together is completely driving me away. I hate this shit!
I think we need innovative play calling, along with culture change. Seems to me that the problems are multi-faceted. I WATCH FILM !! 😉
I wish I could make fact based analogy between the demise of Jerry Jones leadership, and the demise of the Oakland Raiders with Al Davis but it feels similar. Old Man hanging on! Sad
People say that but the Raiders had success in Al's old years. Went to 1 SB and if not for tuck rule would have gone to 2. Jones ineptitude is far worse.
If we're not expecting to be competitive this season, why fill all our holes. Take best player
I like Sweat, even more now. He will learn from his brush with the law.
Needs a felony to be a Cowboy
What if Jerry’s “all in” means he’s going to trade up to the Number 1 pick in the draft?
Jerry doesnt do that.
Dude they gave a 2026 conditional 3rd for hassan Reddick , keenan allen for a 2024 4th round pick aaron jones 1 year 7 mil U mean to tell me cowboys couldn't do tha..ridiculous..the list goes on and on
They would be better off getting Olineman 1st AND 2nd round
I think, they’re just holding until they make their draft picks, then sign him! Respectfully! Cowboys have always had a dark cloud over them! They do the same thing every year, right now they need to be more concerned about their future players, because of injuries, and give them a break on encouraging our team!!!
That "proposed deal" with the Raiders is 100% in Cowboys favor. It's "Herschel Walker" all over again. It it' s offerred do it NOW...
They need to be working on a trade if they don’t want him
Second round
Do the Jones not know the best players come from SEC as far a lineman and they never draft SEC...
You're kidding right, a one for Dak. No one is going to do that.
@#FISH🐟
If u think no team out of 32 is takin a rb in 1st round ur crazy
I want Benson or Wright at RB. Not Brooks. Damaged Goods.
They most certainly may trade Dak obviously no one knows what is in the mind of Jerry Jones right now it sure looks like he’s contemplating something like the Herschel Walker trade back in the day when nobody thought that was happening
If you could get a single 1st round pick this year for Dak, take it.
I agree with fish.Trade dak now for something
Fish keeps pushing this idea that Schoon and Mazi are busts somehow BUT historically both TE and DT take a year to start producing and their production is right on par with other first year guys of their type. Nothing about them says bust... yet.
Recent history maybe ? TE and DTs seem to take off way quicker and reveal themselves quicker than before.
@@mml3140 Not really, that's more exception than rule
The Raiders have so many Patriot coaches and players, that I expect them to be smart and disciplined. Dak would make sense there. I'm not saying I want that to happen. Just saying it makes sense.
Someone tell Jerry Jesus will have come back before the boys win a bowl again. 😂( times running out jerry)
Why would the Raiders give up so much for a Rent-a QB? Why notlet Dak finish out his time with the Cowboys and let him hit Free agency.
As hard as it is to admit, it the cowboys somehow trade Dak for 2 1st round picks and a 2nd - the cowboys will immensely improve. Purdy and the 49ers set the new personnel blueprint for the NFL - gather as much talent as humanly possible and have your QB on a rookie deal to create as much cap space as possible to retain said talent.
BIG HUGE RED FLAG: JERRY HAS NEVER HAD CHAMPIONSHIP SUCCESS IN THE SALARY CAP ERA……EVER. So give Jerry ten #1 picks. He’ll manage to end up in the same spot he’s in now. Couple this with the fact that a team just has to wait one year and they don’t give up ANY picks for Dak and a trade is ridiculous. The landing spot would have to be a top contender like San Francisco or possibly Steelers. Some team with favorables like that.
I would wish they would trade him for a couple first rounders.
We are still in that drought, regardless of how good you see Dak.
The difference is 7
I’ll answer you Fish…No one is offering that for Dak!
If we didn't have Trey Lance and Deion's son coming next year in the draft I will be worried😂. That's why I said let Trey Lance an Cooper Rush play this season then we would know what we need. We will not know what Trey Lance can do if we don't let him play even he will be a backup for Deion Sanders son or he will be a starter. The reason why I'm for the trades with Dak and CD because the Dallas Cowboys messed up the church money. Dak should have already had a contract like a 8 year 04-09-24
How did little Sanders do last year playing D-1 talent... Not good...
@@purtis99 I can tell you do not watch football it was more his offensive line than it was him you think Jerry Jones do not want him🙄🤔. 04-09-24
@@jobisrael8313 🤣🤣🤣
If the raiders iffer that im jumping on it !!
Prescott is going to get paid, and Lamb, we know how Jerry is,he loves Dak.
Emotions Emotions. Lol
No team would give up a first round pick for Dak, not good enough
So you’re saying a seventh round running back is better than Rico Dowdle?
