Honestly, if asked if you feel your sister's shared pain, a sibling dynamic is not hesitating to slap them while confirming you didn't feel it. This is just what siblings would do in the circumstances of being conjoined 😂

No. When your peripheral nervous system is triggered, the signal goes to the brain. Why would you think if you hit one person's face, the signal goes to someone else's brain.
I mean it must get old quick, so I totally understand the emotion. At the same time, is it not technically possible that the sensory nervous system was connected to both their brains? Which if indeed possible, would allow both of them to feel the nose being pierced... Please enlighten me!
It depends on the type of conjoined twins, like if they were conjoined by the head you could argue that. Though you don’t necessarily need to be conjoined to feel your siblings pain there’s really and i mean really rare instances of separated twins feeling each other’s emotions/pain over short distances It’s like phantom limb pain i believe
Nerve signals travel in specific directions. A signal from your nose wouldn’t travel to the central nervous system, then back down into further out parts of the body, and then back up into the other person’s central nervous system and to their brain.
Facial sensitivity is given by the 5th cranial nerve. It originates from the Brainstem at the Pons and most fibers end at the cortex. Since each one has her own head and Brainstem there is no way for them to feel each others face.
The reason behind this is because separate conjoined twins like these have different brains for different nervous systems. You can feel something if there are no nerves in something, and since none of their nerves are in each other’s bodies, they can’t feel each other.
I saw this interview a while ago and i loved it. Honestly they're very genuine and I appreciate how they're direct about their experiences despite it being annoying at times to talk about.

These twins are great I love their personalities 😅
okay but where does ones feeling begins and one feelings ends?
"I got the feeling somebody's watching meeeeeeeeeee"
Lupita: my time has come
I love conjoined twins they're always amazing
The mom got that “buy one get one free deal”💀
Nah imagine the head tho
uninstall windows@@Dog_21
more like buy one get half free
it’s better to “cut off” toxic siblings
I think they are asking if you share the same nerves not if you have the same face…
But if I was conjoined I’d totally slap them in the face 😂
Proof conjoined twins are perfect the way they are. They have good parents
Lupita is so fucking hilarious 😭😭
I mean it must get old quick, so I totally understand the emotion.
At the same time, is it not technically possible that the sensory nervous system was connected to both their brains? Which if indeed possible, would allow both of them to feel the nose being pierced...
Please enlighten me!
Yeah sounds like a reasonable question to me tbh
Probably depense on where the nerve is
It depends on the type of conjoined twins, like if they were conjoined by the head you could argue that.
"i feel nothing"
genius-level comedy :D
They're beautiful people, seem so funny and loving ❤
The phrase "They got their shit together" has a new meaning
Oh my GOD! No. Lmao. I love them.
Her sister got the funny bones.
I saw this interview a while ago and i loved it. Honestly they're very genuine and I appreciate how they're direct about their experiences despite it being annoying at times to talk about.
Imagine if they are not in the same class and imagine if one of them get detention-
The fact so many people in these comments jumped to sex is so much more disappointing knowing that one of them is asexual and it’s just so so creepy and invasive…
If you wouldn’t be saying it to grandma or a child why the hell say it to a stranger…
welcome to the internet bud
@@lunaz_here I’ve been on the internet, this is just gross af
Its amazing to see theyre able to function together, fascinating
They are so cute. Love their humor 🩷
"Ye"
I went to school with Carmen and Lupita from 1st up until 6th grade while they still lived here in New Milford, CT. Wish I could talk to them again!
did they get bullied? just asking bcuz idk how kid in america behave toward handicap student
@@hazztut6136 It depends.....For the most part today "normal" kids get picked on more than handicapped. You know the typical who has nicer clothes and crap.
@@atomicsquirrelproductions6662pretty sure youwouldnt know a thing. The comment was directed to the individual they went to school with
@@oggualafeinI responded to Hazztut6236 and the question on if kids in America got picked on or not....I was responding to that question......But I wouldn't know a thing.....I was born and grew up in America and was in class with handicapped peopl......I wouldn't know about bullying when a friend Kevin found his sister dead because she hung herself in her closet because she was picked on??? She was "normal" but did get picked on......Or a good friend of mine who committed suicide because he didn't feel "normal"? Another kid I defended Bryan was picked on when he started in our class because he smelled and his older brother Bart was also picked on...I defended him because I was picked on in elementary school and he actually became popular and went into the navy...please don't make assumptions and read the comment before you say something ok? The original question was because of wondering if kids in America were picked on like that. So I responded
@@atomicsquirrelproductions6662bruhhhh u talking about suicide what
my question is how do they walk
It’s one leg each, they just learn how to do it together.
I wonder how it was to see them crawl and learn how to walk as babies
With their legs
You can tell Carmen's used to being subjected to Lupita's shenanigans🤣
What if they had different schedules during school, would they have 2 partners or 1 partner to date? I have so many other questions about them it’s really cool ❤
Carmen has bf and Lupita is ace
Imagine one of them got detention at school
I've always been medically curious if people born like this both feel the legs or if the more demand cells(one growing inside mom) feels it.
Lupita is hilarious!! ❤ love these two so much thanks for sharing ❤ xxx
I’m just always wondering how dating works tho
I have a question, during an exam will they be given 2 paper or just collaborate on 1?😂
2, they are technically two people
I mean, that's not a weird question. You're attached to each other. How is the average person supposed to know the layout of your nervous systems?
Lupita is so iconicccccc love her
Literally the most realistic question
Lupita is hilarious even though she doesn’t say much 😂
Damn, I wish them the best. Gravity is gonna start taking a toll on their body right around this age. They're so lovely with beautiful personalities.
