Join The Conversation - let us know your thoughts. How about new Mum Naomi Osaka? Can she join the ranks of other past grand slam champs to win again as a new Mum? What about The Joker? His last ever visit to Melbourne to compete in a Aussie Open at #ao2025 ....will he go bust or glory...? Headlining the women’s entry lists is world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka, aiming to become the first woman since Martina Hingis in 1999 to win three consecutive AO titles. Jannik Sinner tops the men’s list, with the world No.1 hunting back-to-back AO crowns and his second straight major title after his US Open win in September. Aussie mens tennis has never been better - top-10 star Alex de Minaur, while Kubler & co, Hijikata, Jordan Thompson will be wrestling the mantle of 'best bloke of Aussie tennis'....from the retiring (but never shy) statesman of Aussie sports and player advocate: John Millman... Another is returning $Box $Offi$e $Nick Kyrgio$, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist who returns using a protected ranking. G'day @tennisfancaz22 - great point made. #AO and mainstream media really do a poor job of going about hyping up qualifying matches. In fact 1st time I went late 2021 to cover qualifying matches, I couldn't believe the quality of the tennis. Never forget seeing Gilles Simon running around the 'centre show court' at Traralgon under the back drop of the elegant pine trees. Published some footgage of that match... Qualifying definitely a strong niche for AOLife. Currently hoping to land an overseas production partner from Sth East Asia as I type to confirm meeting next week. @@thisaustralianopenlife yes, I've only learnt about qualifying matches from your videos. That was great you saw the match in Traralgon - a fantastic grass roots location for a great match. The qualifiers definitely deserve more spectators at their matches - they're very dedicated to the sport and work so hard. Good luck with your business partner - sounds promising. I'm sure you will collaborate and come up with many interesting and innovative ideas for new content. Thanks for the links. I'll try to check them out later. I'm sure there's lots of useful and interesting info contained within! 😃
Another great video who do you think is likely to get the final mens wc. Do you think it could be Tomic? Jasika? Sweeney or Bolt? Also heard Jason Kubler will be using a protected ranking to get into the qualifying so that'll be good hes a great player. Also alot of people are saying Cruz Hewitt will get a qualifying wc. If he does how do you think he'll go? Finally if kyrgios has a great tournament in Brisbane do you think he'll make the 2nd week of the AO in singles? Just something funny to add for lols imagine kyrgios plays tomic first round (If he gets a wc or wins 3 rounds of qualifying)! One more important thing to add are you going to do player interviews at the ao as you said you where getting a media pass for the ao? If so that'll be great and would be amazing to see!
G'day @DynamicPool28 - pleased to hear from you again. How are you? Thanks for the generous feedback. Some great points you've raised here... re: old mate Tomic - I dunno to be honest. Am not a fan of people who waste their talent. Poor ol' Bernie a bit too soft for me. I still recall him as a 16 yrs old complaining about being tired, wanting special consideration for playing night matches. Then another year, he's in the papers partying it up on the Gold Coast...so yeah...would love him to succeed, but on the whole I think that ship has sailed on his career. If he has matured - too late by my reckoning. re: 'Jasika? Sweeney or Bolt? Kubler' - give me 1 Kubler for 3 to 4 x Tomic every day of the week. I love Kubler, especially when paired with Rinky Dink Hijikata. Bolt also a thorough workhorse when he's fit & firing. Will have to do some checking Jasika & Sweeney - thanks, this is where your contributions really add value... when the audience chips in to grow / expand knowledge for all of us. ⁴ᴷ Unseeded Aussie Wildcards Advance To Mens QuarterFinals | Jason Kubler Rinky Hijikata #AO2023 * ruclips.net/video/Cc25RK4cY48/видео.html re: 'Cruz Hewitt - qualifying wc' - have you been reading my production notes! ;) Stay tuned - a special episode to profile the up & coming 'son of a gun'. Also am considering taking the VLine train up to Traralgon just to get footage of the kid in action... re: returning $Box $Offi$e $Nick Kyrgio$ - if there's one player always keeping me off balance, it's this guy. He's up, he's down, he's here, he's there...he's a moden day scarlett tennis pimpernel. Your guess as good as mine really. He could do his knee in the 1st round warm up day 1 & drop out altogether. Or the complete opposite: power into the final, never drops a single set from the 1st round all the way through the draw ..... commentating his own match all the way, while telling anyone in the crowd with ears on to get stuffed... re: Media Pass - player interviews. G'day @DynamicPool28 - re 'who do you think is likely to get the final mens wc'... apologies, just realised I misread this. Right now, haven't identified someone. One thing I can say - my preference is TA gives WC to an up and comer, someone with promise whose been plying their trade, building their game and court craft on the 500 tour/secondary tour overseas...

Good info 👍. They don't really advertise the qualifying matches. Great chance to see some top tennis before the big crowds arrive 😀🎾🌟
