Thank you for the video. This is excellent information on the correct way to physically position placards. I am new to hazmat. I have my endorsement, but have never hauled a hazmat load. Could you explain how to decide which placard is required for a load? I mean, in the real world, what is the process you use when you pick up a load of material that you may not be familiar with. Maybe you don't know ifnitnis corrosive or explosive. How do you determine what your load is? Thank you!!!
Usually it will have on the the BOL and u can manually search 4 the correct placard in MDS but the shipper will have 2 always provide correct placards or you call company and tell them 2 check and make sure what they are giving u are correct cuz it ultimately falls on Shipper and your Company then U if U move the truck with wrong Placards or BOL's
I got them from Landstar when I was there, but Micheals, Joanna's or any crafting store and take a placard with you and they can cut u out the right size... But they definitely help from having 2 stick em on
Good looking Jaydub real easy and simple...
The marine pollutant sticker is a MARKER not a placard. A placard is a sticker with a number 1-9
So like, basically even if your hauling food acids, you need a corrosive placard
That why i dont like soda lol. Thank you for the video

Your are suffering from OCD, it doesn't have to be Squared, or Leveled, as long as it is labeled it's Ok,.
Yep.... You'll have a Citation soon
Ummm in the hazmat endorsement study guide, it literally says placard must be perfectly straight up and down and read horizontally.....
