How to remember the 9 hazmat hazard classes and their identifying UN placard colors. Like and subscribe if it helped you to help me get the support to help others, and Thank you!
1.Every 2.Good 3.Fire 4.Fighter 5.Ought 6.To 7.Read 8.Cheesy 9.Magazines. 1. Explosive 2. Gas 3.Flam Liq 4.Flam Solid 5.Oxidizers 6.Toxic 7.Radioactive 8.Corrosive 9.Misc. I was able to write that after one viewing of the video and only 3 peaks at the final white board. Before watching this video I would have had no idea about any of it. Very, very effective use of memorization cues for number of the class, the colors, and what each class hazard is. Brilliant! Thank you so much for this wonderful video!
As a former educator myself, prior to trucking, I have to say that this video has been the most beneficial. Thank you for having knowledge on "education" not just hazmat.
Updating hazmat endorsement for a new state, and ran across your video. These were the 1-2 questions I've missed on previous tests. How simple!! Old school, love it!! Thanks for my future 💯% scores!! Great teaching!!
I recently viewed your videos. They really helped me on my hazmat endorsement. I took the tanker and hazmat. Passed 💯 on both test. Thanks for the info.
Studying for my Hazmat endorsements. I have to say this is absolutely BRILLIANT At 1st I couldn’t remember the classes. I swear to you with the 1st 2-5 minutes of this video i can now remember them 🙏🏾 Thank you
I learned "Every Good Fire Fighter On Pension Receives Cash Money" (P for poisons which is the same category as Toxics)...that one just always stuck with me... Great video, thank you.
Brother thanks for your help....you should be doing this on a higher level.....you Make it so simple and direct and easy to remember and learn.. WOW....your awesome brother thank you
You’re an excellent teacher. Thank you so much for this mnemonic device! I feel much more prepared and confident after this video to take my hazmat endorsement test.
I’m glad to hear! I have other videos on the Divisions, Decon, PPE, etc. if you’re looking for a topic and don’t see a video for it, leave a message and I’ll see what I can do!
Thank you! I'm getting ready to upload some new requested content in the coming weeks, so any shares would be appreciated. Hopefully it helps in a time of need
Your videos are so helpful. Do you have any videos that help me remember these UN's and the order the UN's and the labels and the numbers and the classes in all of that are supposed to be in?
I posted this one on the classes, another one on the divisions (it was brought to my attention that I missed 4.3 as a stand alone comment being water reactive materials), and other things hazmat related. I'm not sure about the UN's and order the UN's, but if you have something specific I can help with, I''ll work to get one posted
Can you run through the sections taught in awareness? Detect, collect, connect , protect. Your videos have made more sense to me than the books I'm reading
Sir, Great message but an abysmal production. 1. Get a real camera not a cellphone. 2. Have your white board up closer to the front so we can actually read it. Use a heavier marker. 3. Get OUT of the WAY so we can see the data. We really don;t want to see you. We want to see the Hazards. 4. Bring in the other HazMat placards and have them shown prominently. Mention [if only briefly] the UN commodity numbers and the USDOT emergency response handbook. { I am retired and have 25 years experience in HazMat, hazWaste and emergency response.]
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I encourage you use your years of experience and excellent ideas to make a better video to help the masses. My longer than 13 minute classes tend to be a lot more in depth, and cover the materials you mentioned. Since this was a Covid shutdown little add, I had to make due with what was available...but I’m glad you’ll be able to do a better job and get the message out to those looking for the info!

Yeah... lighten up a little man. These may be for 1st timers who haven't been in the bizz for 25 yrs😂
It should be every good fire fighter auto read certain magazines and not cheesy magazines.
Ought=oxidizer; Auto=? To=Toxic; Auto=? Cheesy because of my kid...certain because of?
great video thanks for the help
