Lucas, you’re right on point with your summer series! I think you create that perfect blend of the adventure and travel side along with the beauty and nature side of your trips. You really are becoming one hell of a videographer! My utmost respect and well wishes as you continue on your path. Keep it up!!
as somebody who firsts came because of ski+van videos, i have to gladly say that these summer videos are just as entertaining if not more.. love from ohio
Lucas, I made it a point to watch your summer travels this year… so glad I did. As I’ve said before, the quality of your vids never disappoint. You are a great inspiration for doing what you love. Keep up the work! Your channel is gonna pop again very soon!
Love your Skiing, Hiking, and Luna exploring the West videos! Very relatable and engaging. Trying to help grow your channel and tell all I can about your channel. Keep up your excellent work. Thank You.
Yeah- We had hardly any smoke until the past couple of weeks. You did a great job of capturing the amazing back yard I call home. Looking forward to the live stream tonight! I'm also looking forward to hearing more about how racing went from the previous event. All the best, Mo-
If you really want to see the interior of Olympic National Park, the best way is multi-day backpack trip. Enchanted Valley to Staircase is a good one, but logistically can be a little tricky as it requires parking for a few days and a ride back to your vehicle after the hike.
Olympic National Park is huge & yeah you have to drive to specific places, but where you went Lucas, is magical! Been to Neah Bay ( no smoke then ) & stayed at Crescent Lake, which Storm King looms over. That coastal hike looks amazing. My son lives in WA so it’s been an eye opener for me. Beautiful beautiful state - Stay outdoors with your videos !
Beautiful video lucas, sucks about the smoke but im with you - its the journey and the adventure along the way that makes it worth it. The overlook you went to looked pretty special, gonna have to check it out. Great video as always!
I’m new to your channel. I found you while looking for some footage of deer valley. I love your camera work. It’s fantastic. I’m in Washington so it’s great to see you show some of my awesome state. You need to come back and ski Crystal Mtn. We have the best terrain in Washington there. I’d love to see you visit again.
I personally love watching adventure! Especially the west United States. It’s inspirational to see a single man go vagabond (even though you’re based in Utah). Keep doing what your doing, love it man!
Hi Lucas, my husband and I love the videos of your trips with Luna, the beautiful scenery and hiking. We are from the Netherlands and are inspired by your videos for our trips. We hope to be coming to the northwest of the usa next summer and we will surely visit Mount Rainier and Olympic. And hopefully we will also have time for North Cascades. We would love to see some (hiking) videos of (West)Canada and maybe more from Utah?
thank you martine! im glad you enjoy the videos. will definitely have some videos of utah coming up here in the next few weeks and i would love to explore the canadian rockies again!
I dig all your videos. I could be wrong but the bigger emphasis on the van life (the road trip, the meals, the sleeping location, etc) with the skiing probably helps… but I just don’t think you can top the excitement of ski videos. But thanks for all the great vids!
Hey Lucas, I think what makes the ski videos so much more popular is twofold: the consistency of the releases, can always count on 2 videos in a given week on the same days (always know when to come back to catch a new video --> RUclips algo pushes those to me because it learns im seeking them out) and they feel a bit more day in the life, which the vlog style fits perfectly with rather than the summer vids that have a bit more of a trip highlights feel
Lucas ..I hope you'll come back to Olympic and give it another chance. You have to hike it to really appreciate it, not many roads penetrate the wilderness. The Back Country in the park is amazing. Places like Royal Basin, 7 Lakes Basin, Grand Valley, Enchanted Valley, Lacrosse Basin and the Grand Daddy of them all, the Bailey Traverse. Late July - Mid Aug. Is best.
There’s a little secret spot on the Olympic national park called deer park campground it’s the highest points of the park you can drive to it’s also in my opinion the best spot in all of Washington the view is out of this world!
So dope! It kinda sucks the smoke hit so hard up there but you really got to see a lot of the what makes the Pacific northwest special. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride, it was a great one.
I think the ski videos do better than the summer ones, because skiing is more exciting and interesting to watch compared to hiking. If you want to grow the channel more in the summer maybe you could try other outdoor sports. It seems like most people who ski switch to mountain biking in the summer, so Maybe you could try mtb to keep viewers from the winter all year round. Just a suggestion.
as somebody who firsts came because of ski+van videos, i have to gladly say that these summer videos are just as entertaining if not more.. love from ohio

Those looked like awesome hikes! Living in the van looks like a sick adventure
thanks bro! beautiful adventure out there.

thanks erik! really appreciate the insight on the videos.

Lucas, I'm so jealous of how self motivated you are! I'm 40 years old but I hope to own a camper van some day and you're my inspiration!
Appreciate that Adam! It’s never too late my friend!
Great video as always!

gotcha! will put it on my list for next time!

thanks man! unfortunate timing with the smoke, but ill be back again next year!
Sure is good to have you out this way. That climb up Storm King looked burly. Well done man.
thanks man! definitely underestimated the climb up there!
Great video man! The northwest is beautiful!
thanks mark! definitely stoked i got to check it out this year!
Lucas. I always enjoy your videos. Are you going skiing this year?
thanks edward! and yeah.
such a cool spot!
yes it really is!
Bro really said i quit (sorta) and now is living his best life. All the credit goes to you man.
haha thanks dude. still trying to sort everything out but enjoying my time while doing so.
1:37 scare of height, but no problem jump off the cliff skiing.😅🤣
its less intimidating with snow!

thanks mark. i thought the car racing would be interesting to most but maybe its too difficult to relate to.
Furtherest NW in the lower 48 lol
yup!!
Will you head to Canada this season?
i'm currently not allowed into canada
Do downhill mountain biking
a bit too high risk with racing for a summer activity
as somebody who firsts came because of ski+van videos, i have to gladly say that these summer videos are just as entertaining if not more.. love from ohio
I also love the summer videos, but Im happy it’s almost ski season again.
thank you so much jack!
