    Few points for you.After all that effort you didn't tell us your power output? So can you advise and I will then be able to assess.

      76 kW (104 hp) @ 5000 rpm/ 155 Nm @ 4000 rpm. But it will rev much more (normal 95RON fuel)- for safety we cap off at 5000. This winter we will service it and tune it on or rolling road Dyno.

      @@bartvandebroek3370 Interesting Bart , I get a very easy 110BHP at 5000rpm 5lbs boost . The engine is 1466cc with a 92mm steel crank and H rods, JE +100 pistons , flowed head and 1.3/4 SU carb .I agree there's no need to exceed 5000rpm. All set up on rolling road.

      @@bertiewooster3326 We have JE pistons, 69,5 mm (1366cc), Saenz H rods, forced balanced crank, etc, etc. Yes It can easily do more, but we had some issues with the head gasket (now dry decked, the thickest ARP bolts and nuts, special head gasket), and issues with the rod bearings (they melt). Now solved all (after movie), and set boost to an acceptable value for normal fuel. And yes we measure real hp direct on the crank, no calculations for gears/etc. And it's now already running 3 years, also on the track, without failure.

      Bigger aluminium radiator, oil cooler, bigger sump + 100% synthetic engine oil, high capacity waterpump, baffles in the bonnet and enough fuel (rich mixture) set on the Dyno. We also run with Evans waterless coolant. No overheating issues at all.
