This video demonstrates installing and using the Intelligent Teaching And Learning with Computers (iTALC) classroom management software. iTALC is free, cross-platform, and open source, and provides remote desktop, remote power on/off/reboot, remote snapshots, and many other features that are useful in a classroom environment.

Great instructions. I have worked about 7 hours trying to figure out what was wrong with my install. Followed you video (by clicking off the ACL-based logon authentication) all my problems went away. I could not figure out where the login came from to even get the iTALC to start up for me. THANKS!!

Helpful video. Is there any way to minimize or hide the "classroom manager" side bar? It cuts out about 25% of my screen so I cannot view all clients.
If you click on the title of the open tab on the far left, it should close.

hello sir i am using win xp and when i install into the win xp and open the client remote .and when click on view only then is restart with blue screen fatal error how it fix problem?

iTalc 3 was released before a week.
In ver 3.0, it asks a password, what it would be?
i am getting an error improper setting of the credentials or key file. kindly help!!!!
This only works from a local network? I wanna set this up for my company to make sure my employees arent on facebook while at work. My business is in multiple locations so not all of them are on the same network
Using a VPN/VLAN will solve this. Of course configuring one is depending on your company situation which i cannot help u with
What do I do, if even after adding the computer it says Host Unreachable and never will show the Client Computer?
Sounds like it could be a networking or firewall issue. Make sure you can connect between the two computers and that a firewall isn't blocking the communication. Goes without saying, but double check for typos in your client address as well.
My computer lab computer are on wife can i use this.
Yes you can, Derrick. But italc is now "veyon". but it is the same thing. The only exception is, that you create your class in the veyon configuration (scroll down -> local files. Here you type in the ip adresses etc... )
