Laura Ashley 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer SEMA Project Official Announcement

Jennifer and I have started working on our latest project car for SEMA, an iconic vehicle with an iconic brand. We are so excited to announce this partnership with Laura Ashely and will be sharing more as film more of the build process.

I'm not really sure how I feel about this. I disagree that a Jeep Grand Wagoneer fits with the Laura Ashley brand but it's such an intriguing concept, there's no way it won't turn out great. It's already evoking images of summer pastures, fireflies, and picnics under oak trees.

You have to think about it in the context of the times, the Grand Wagoneer was the SUV to have at your country home or country club in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Thinking of it from the American Market perspective it is a great fit for the era and it is going to be a lot of fun to build out.
