Very insightful discussion from all three. After listening to this pod, Crossing the Line seems to be about parenting adolescents who are coming of age. Every kid in this episode had a pivotal moment, and every adult leveled up into a new realm of leadership. Great episode.
So many amazing moments in this episode! Also, the track for that scene with the Riggins' Brothers, sharing a beer and the grilled cheese sandwich from Iron and Wine... man, so good. So beautifully put together.
Since I have seen this series all the way through many times, I always watch the episode being discussed after I listen to the podcast. When Jason and Lila start kissing, all I could think of is how loud the kissing was! I would never have noticed that before. 😂
I have to mention with FNL related references beyond the show.... The Alamo Drafthouse Coach Taylor inspirational speech interruption PSA. I'm from the UK and I still saw it, lol. It's on RUclips.
I'm dying laughing at Zach's kissing confession. How many women out there have told someone, "Yeah, I dated that guy for a bit. He was nice, but terrible kisser." It's ok. My Saracen crush still stands. 😂
Dangg. Jason street is also mayor on Ginny and Georgia. Ayee ! Big player. Already knew heart of Dixie with summer from the OC but this is new legendary moments
Also...with reference beyond the show... just wondering in my own mind if the character of Jason Street is somewhere around with a client off screen at the NFL Draft in the Costner movie Draft Day..... wouldn't have been a million miles away from Sean Combs super agent .....
Who’s that Radom girl? Bring Julie on the show!!! It makes me really happy seeing j street and 7 are actually friends. Keep FNL on Netflix always like re watching some the good episode from season 1&2.
Thanks for saying that I blew your mind in the "Captain Breakdown" scene, Zach!
I love the behind the scenes trivia.
Love Eric Taylor’s love of ping pong 😂
The fact that Scott brought up the Dans and Frans story makes me so happy!! Solid research my friend
Love the Taylor Riggins dinner scene 😂

Just looked up Dan's and Fran's and it appears all of the Fran's locations have closed.
i wonder if they consolidated somehow or if fran was just worse at business than dan
Luke and Tinkler were playing on the JV team at Dillon
