My aging black mother-in-law in Raleigh, NC in 2003, became a victim. She was only $3000 away from paying off her home when some predators showed up and convinced her to sign-up for a sub-prime equity loan wherein, shortly thereafter, her payment skyrocketed, putting her in default. At age 78, she almost lost her home, until the family got together and bailed her out. Those predators - Beyond disgusting!

this video clearly identifies the need for reparations for ADOS. And let's face it civil rights laws have ultimately failed as well as integration. This video shows that segregation in America is no different than it was in 1940. We just have a Kinder gentler form of segregation right? Abraham Lincoln had the right solution. If you research Lincoln ultimately wanted black people that have their own land economic fortitude and provide a stable and valuable tax income base for the u.s. government. Lincoln wanted America to be a white Nation but he understood that America had a responsibility and debt to its formerly enslaved population. Reparations now and we will develop our own land this way white people will not have to interact with us and we will not have to beg white people for jobs or resources. Anytime the oppressed has to beg the oppressor for anything, the oppressed is destined to starve to death.

U.S. debt is more than the total size of the United States’ economy and equivalent to the gross domestic products of China, Japan and Germany combined.
While the economy is experiencing its longest sustained expansion in American history, the federal deficit is ballooning - when its supposed to shrink during strong economic times. Strong economic times! Bigly strong. Bigly debt.
The question is: Do YOU see this sustained expansion in YOUR pocket? Or does this expansion go to the 1% richest of the richest? Your corporate conglomerate masters?

My father passed away in 2010. So I inherited enough money to buy a condo in cash. I put offers thousands above the prices for condos $45k 55k 51k 49k and 25k all of these were really nice condos in Chicago‘s Rogers Park a very mixed neighborhood that is gentrifying.
The results of my bids was the bank accepted offers LOWER than my bids each time!
All five times the BANKs accepted several thousand dollars LESS than my bids.
The only thing I can assume to explain this is that the real estate game is so rigged that there is very little chance for people to fairly compete even with cash in hand much less with a loan.
Basically 5.1 million people were kicked out of their homes with little assistance from the government.
    The banks were bailed out
and then the banks and inside investors bought back these properties at the lowest cost possible.
I am now planning to move from the United States to Europe.
In Germany they have some similar problems with gentrification and most people rent.
But, if you are kicked out of your apartment because a landlord wants to renovate and rent at a higher price you are offered a minimum of €10,000. And you can negotiate for more and you have legal rights to refuse the offer.
Plus affordable healthcare, transportation, education, etc.
If Sanders or someone as progressive as Sanders is not elected followed by continual reforms, the USA will sink towards even greater inequalities.

My mother who recently passed away worked in Banking, was a loan officer, VP and even worked for FEMA during the aftermath of the Northridge neighborhood. All that said, I've have lived among Whites 98% of the time except for the brief period which was 6th grade. The majority of this stuff that happens to Blacks happens east of the Mississippi. We never lived in a Black area except that ONE period I mentioned and we had an apartment because we couldn't find a house they wanted in the SFV. Eventually we did, only lasted a year. Other times we have rented homes, two out of the last three dwellings were rented. From where I am typing was bought in 1992.

Excellent interview once again with Bill Black. This situation for Black home ownership in the US definitely needs to be corrected. Not sure due to not being a law expert, but I think this injustice could surely be treated as a crime against human rights. I think it should be that even only according to US law. This predatory lending nonsense seems like it could possibly be considered a form of racketeering, which I think is illegal according to US law. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racket_(crime) Quote: " _A racket, according to the current common and most general definition, is an organized criminal act in which the criminal act is some form of substantial business, or a way to earn illegal money either regularly, or briefly but repeatedly. A racket is therefore generally a repeated or continuous criminal operation. However, originally and often still specifically, a “racket” referred to a criminal act in which the perpetrator or perpetrators fraudulently offer a service to solve a nonexistent problem, a service that will not be put into effect, or a service that would not exist without the racket. Conducting a racket is racketeering.[1] Particularly, the potential problem may be caused by the same party that offers to solve it, but that fact may be concealed, with the specific intent to engender continual patronage for this party. ..._ " Yep, I think this predatory lending could be considered a racket.

This is a good topic, unfortunately you are simplistically blaming racism and not overlaying your stats with
    1.crime rates in those areas
    2. how government regulations on lenders incentivize what is now known as predatory lending, which was backed by authorities to ' help blacks'
    3. Good schools affecting home value. Whos fighting for and or against charters schools? This is an answer to one of your remedies, however based on the tone of your video you will probably be against it.
