  • Do you want to get faster and quickly reach the shuttle when playing badminton? Then it’s probably time for you to learn the split-step.
    If you want to move faster on the badminton court, religiously working on your footwork is something you need to focus on. The split step is one technique that you could study and practice so that you can change direction faster and become more fluid when you move your feet.

      Check on the tightness of your grip or maybe you have tensed up a lot prior and while hitting coz’ that can contribute to stiffness in the arm causing pain in your biceps. Another is, since you’re stopped for 2 years, did you warm up before playing and stretch afterwards? I hope so because that is very important and my next question is, did you over play? Enjoying the game after taking a break for a long time should be done with a lot of care and gradually playing more not playing your maximum on the first few times you’ve started. 😁🏸

    Hi coach. I guess the biggest problem that I have is my stamina. Especially when playing singles, most of the time I make mistakes because, and not necessarily realizing I'm already tired. The exhaustion seems to cloud my judgement. How do I improve my stamina? Is there a secret to conserving my energy on the court while playing? - My name is Kenny

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  3 года назад +5

      Nice name! Haha😉 i would suggest that you practice deep breathing. Deep inhale through your nose then slowly exhale through your mouth or sometimes after very long rallies, take a deep breath and shout a big ha! When you do good breathing you can recover faster, it also helps in may other ways like re-energizing you or getting you to re-focus in the game. I will discuss more of this in my next videos! Thank you! 😁🏸
