- Do you want to get faster and quickly reach the shuttle when playing badminton? Then it’s probably time for you to learn the split-step.
If you want to move faster on the badminton court, religiously working on your footwork is something you need to focus on. The split step is one technique that you could study and practice so that you can change direction faster and become more fluid when you move your feet.

Hi Kennie, thanks for remembering me how te be fast:)
Please share video with your short player also like height around 5 feet bcz I am short and it will be more helpful for me to understand when someone is doing footwork near my height. Hope u understand my request. Love u coach. Ur videos are always helpful for me. Lots of love from 🇮🇳India.
I fully understand you. I would even suggest you to watch a particular player you really like. Like the style or movement on court who has the same height and built. You will definitely pick up a thing or 2 there😁🏸

Coach I am doing nowadays (your video)full court shadow with split step but which one I should use to increase my speed mid court shadow with split step or full court. And also tell benefit of full court shadow and mid court shadow. And in this video u taught mid court shadow?? Please coach reply.
Will do a video on it! Thanks! 😁🏸
Coach when I go forward in shadow and backward in shadow I use to take double jump like bounce and same in when I come back in center I take a pause and jump like bounce my coach use to scold me a lot for this he says If I will dance on the court like this then when I will reach to receive and pick the shot ma'am can you tell please how to improve my extra bounce
Allow your coach to correct you each time without feelinv irritated or bad about it bec your coach wants you to be better. There is no easy way in correcting habits but if you persevere to correct it, you can do it! Good luck! You can do it!!😁🏸

Coach i am facing a problem while i play badminton. The problem is that i start to have pain in my right hand bicep. Right hand is my strong hand and when i hit heavy shots like smash or toss its pain. I have start ted to play badminton again on 15 january 2021. I used to play earlier too but i was not playing since 2 years. I go to coaching to learn badminton. Can you please tell how can i fix it? ( my bicep pain)
coach please reply
Check on the tightness of your grip or maybe you have tensed up a lot prior and while hitting coz’ that can contribute to stiffness in the arm causing pain in your biceps. Another is, since you’re stopped for 2 years, did you warm up before playing and stretch afterwards? I hope so because that is very important and my next question is, did you over play? Enjoying the game after taking a break for a long time should be done with a lot of care and gradually playing more not playing your maximum on the first few times you’ve started. 😁🏸
@@CoachKennieAsuncion i do warmup and proper cooldown. I dont know what to say in if i over play and coach can you tell the meaning of to check the tightness of my grip and also the meaning of that tensed up line?
Maam l have an problem in backhand shots. How to improve my backhand which tips would you preferred me ???

Consistency comes from practice. There is no secret or formula to it... just regular practices😁🏸
Coach can I use an ordinary training shoes instead of badminton shoes?
Mam when racquet crosses over the net when it's considered as fault pls explain
If the game is in play and your racket accidentally goes over the net, that is fault😁🏸

coach you are from
Manila, Philippines
Mam when we serve the cork touches the net and lands in correctly is it correct serve or we have to re serve it
Cork or feather touching the net by itself from a serve or rally is ok as long as it goes over the net to the other side. In the case of service, as long as it goes in the designated box😁🏸
@@CoachKennieAsuncion thanks a lot mam
Hi coach. I guess the biggest problem that I have is my stamina. Especially when playing singles, most of the time I make mistakes because, and not necessarily realizing I'm already tired. The exhaustion seems to cloud my judgement. How do I improve my stamina? Is there a secret to conserving my energy on the court while playing? - My name is Kenny
Nice name! Haha😉 i would suggest that you practice deep breathing. Deep inhale through your nose then slowly exhale through your mouth or sometimes after very long rallies, take a deep breath and shout a big ha! When you do good breathing you can recover faster, it also helps in may other ways like re-energizing you or getting you to re-focus in the game. I will discuss more of this in my next videos! Thank you! 😁🏸
@@CoachKennieAsuncion oh! I remember this is what Tai Tzu Ying does, the big ha! I'll definitely try that. :D
Mam can I became a professional badminton player to starting my career at 17?
Its not about the age but skill and dedication to the sport! 😁🏸

Mam my tournament is coming so near I am kind of excited but much nervous which is not good for the game too as it experienced earlier too. What should I do my coach?
From which state you are from
Pls reply pls
And which tournament
@@vishaljain7783 Madhya Pradesh
Anil Jain, its ok to feel nervous what’s important is you dont overthink. Warm up well before your game and focus on analyzing your game as you play, where you get your points and what you need to watchout for. Take it one point at a time. Good luck!! 😁🏸

Mam i am out door aged 50 what lbs i can use for racquet
The weight of a racket is light. I suggest that when u buy try to hold it and see if you like the feel of it. Rackets are personal so what I like may not be to your liking but i prefer light rackets 😁🏸
