    There's an override for low gear on the back of the left handlebar behind the start button. You just hold that down if you don't want to deal with the speed limiter

    Hello there, I have a 2021 Overland and mine has a override lever on left hand grip for low gear and reverse. Cat delete is a must, cost $50 at welding shop and about 1 hr of my labor. You will appreciate the engine brake if you ever ride mountain trails. Happy Trails

      That’s awesome what did you do just cut the cat out and weld a small portion of pipe where the cat was ? I wonder if I could take mine off and get some local muffler shop to do that to mine if it would save me couple hundred sucks for me bought the machine and injured my shoulder dang thing just sitting in building not even getting road except when my wife takes it round the subdivision

    Brother, had mine built by MSC. Headers, tune, upper engine mount and one inch spacers. The headers and aftermarket exhaust will take care of the heat. Main street cycles has everything. Get ahold of them. Override is on the left front controls. Foward on the instruments. Hold it down in low or reverse for max speed. May work for top speed? Unscrew the throttle screw too. Right side controls, above the thumb throttle. Hope your shoulder gets better. Chiropractor helped me brother.

    You can snip one of the wires going to the ECU and it will remove the low rev limiter. It will then be in the 30's before it runs out of gear. You can google this and there is someone on youtube that shows you how to do it. You can also just get an ECU tune and it will take care of that plus add a little more fuel if you ask to help with the heat while going slow. You'll gain some performance with the tune also.

      My dealership gave me the two up seat for free and took 200 off the price of a plow I guess you need to ask and see if they want to loose the deal or sell a new unit

    yeah the heat off the exhaust is intense on the right side. and the turning radius is horrible. two of my biggest complaints

    • @whiterhinooutdoors4572
      @whiterhinooutdoors4572  8 месяцев назад

      Yeah mine too and after what little trail riding I’ve done with it and it kills me to say this cause I wanted a big machine but some times that tank is hard to fit between trails lol but soon as I get my shoulder injury better I’m get back to riding it I’ve heard cat delete makes a world of difference with the heat issue maybe I can do that soon

    • @AdamEdward
      @AdamEdward 8 месяцев назад +1

      it looks like they made the 2024 800 and 1000's better with the turning radius. i doubt they changed the layout of the exhaust. so yeah, getting better outflow by eliminating headers works well. i added more heat shield to the pipe and inner side of the plastic panel. it worked a little bit. one good thing, its nice in the winter haha@@whiterhinooutdoors4572

    I was trying to tell if it loud our if that was just wind noise i had 2021 uforce 1000 loved everything about it except for how loud it was in the cab you had to wear ear plugs if someone riding with you had to stop to talk so I sold it

    • @whiterhinooutdoors4572
      @whiterhinooutdoors4572  7 месяцев назад +1

      I don’t think it’s loud on the trails to me it’s most likely the wind my camera picked up we wasn’t going fast and we could talk and hear each other I haven’t rode it much soon as I bought it I had to have a shoulder rotator surgery my arm still hurts and I just haven’t felt like riding all the 50inch parks round me are closed anyways

    I appreciate the input but it’s time to take it out in the woods and see how it does then give us another video as I see a tag on the handlebars telling me that it’s brand new. Let me know how long it last and how it runs after a while thank you.

      Oh I will only had it on trails once I’ve injured my shoulder having surgery July on it just don’t think I’m tough enough to get out on the trails with tore shoulder yeah it’s new I need to take that tag off but like I said I’ve road it once on trails and wife burned the subdivision up with it lol but for sure trail ride needs done not sure how long it will be for my shoulder to recover so not sure when that ride will happen

      @@whiterhinooutdoors4572 me and you were in a very similar situation. I had my shoulder repaired in January while I was recovering I bought a brand new 2023, Can-Am outlander max 850 I go riding with my neighbor that has a side-by-side and I’d rather be on the four wheeler, I see more people get hurt on the side by sides by rolling them than anybody does on a four wheeler hang in there good time are coming you’ll be out there tearing up the trails in no time

    Low gear is made to go slow lol... if you want to go fast then go hi gear.. you are suppose to use low gear only on big hills or when uploading in your trailer.. otherwise keep that thing on hi and send it
