The new moves they just added (Coffin Drop, Hidden Blade, Mike Bailey moves, etc.) are already more worth than this DLC and it isnt even out.

Turns out a lot of WWE fans arent necessarily football fans, which makes sense when you realize its a group of people who choose to watch RAW on Mondays rather than MNF

Yeah, we were eating good with the past two packs and we might be eating good in the future packs (especially that WCW one), but we still could have gotten MORE.

That's the thing is it isn't taking the place of another pack. They were going to toss Pat with another pack but he didn't want to do it without his friends. So they made a special pack that wouldn't have been in the game anyways.
Anything wrestling related would have been better than this

The update just dropped. Everything is there. I don't know why the pack is delayed. It's a glorified new moves pack. So if you're looking forward to 6 Coffin Drops, Mike Bailey's moves and Hidden Blade, its for you. And yeah, that's it.

I still think they should have given us the Global Superstar Pack as the 2nd pack. This one needs extra current superstars and/or updated arenas to make up for having one part time wrestler/commentator. BUT, there should definitely be new moves and creation parts.
To be fair, I don't know many that watch his show to the depth that they're fans of the cast outside of McAfee. We all can appreciate him being in the game, but this DLC was prime real estate for other stars
we all know if this pack was filled with other wrestlers a different list of complaints would crop up. People complain about old WWF, AWA, or NWA guys showing up in the game. They cry about people who got fired showing up in the game or having too many women in the game. No matter the pack someone would be upset over it. I've seen complain over the great muta, and I'm like it is the great freaking muta. Who cares if he never wrestled for the fed? A whole bunch of people care for some reason
@@dupehotterthansoup No smart people are complaining that there’s too many women, or that there’s fired superstars in the game. And complaining that we are getting legends rather than active superstars, as the NXT roster is still pretty barebones overall.

There aren't a lot of new moves in this pack. Notable moves is 5 variations of the Coffin Drop, and the Hidden Blade, and for some reason a taunt for Josh Briggs. The moves can be previewed I. Create A Moveset, but can't be used until DLC is purchased. I bet it's literally just delayed to line up with some new MyFaction content, as two new Persona cards are coming to MyFaction
I have every WWE (non WWE wrestling game) released in the last 29yrs. inckuding all available dlc. I'll buy the Pat dlc Pack...but I'm about as thrilled as I was for Bad Bunny Machine Gun Kelly Fred Durst ect. I would like Big Poppa Pump patched in or Brock Lesnar Undertaker '95 to name a few.

Thats unfortunately just not possible. They only appeared a few months ago. They wouldn't have any scans of them, let alone the fact none of them have an actual wrestling attire they've used.

Also Dom Mysterio but he played College American football. Ridge Holland played Rugby but he can definitely fit in American football.
You get pro wrestlers in Madden all the time… both on roster because they were ex football players. Or in special packs for ultimate team.
We’re getting 3 Super Bowl champions in this pack. Yeah we get his dumb podcast friends as well.. but AJ Hawk is an absolute beast.
You see how wrestlers who used to play football being on the roster when they played football is different than a bunch of podcast fuckwits being dlc in a wrestling game that is missing a lot of notable legends and active wrestlers?
It would be nice if we were able to adjust each section of the body the way we wanted like in smackdown vs raw 2011 I made one of my characters ridiculous looking😂 it's just annoying being given already adjusted size presets
Pat MacFee should understand that wrestling fans don’t want to play as non wrestlers in a wrestling game. Also while I understand why Andrade and Naomi aren’t the game due to them only making their return to WWE in January why isn’t Electra Lopez included in any of the DLC packs?
If you think about it, half of the wwe roster used to be NFL players so idk if people would even be mad if wwe superstars get added in madden lol. Roman Reigns, Brock, Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin and so on
Madden getting wrestlers actually makes sense cause a lot of wrestlers were football players (Reigns, Lesnar, Corbin, Goldberg, The Rock) but why football players that never did anything to the business. Lawrence Taylor makes more sense cause he actually had a match at WM. This DLC pack is so pointless and padding for the real DLC that comes in September
This is definitely the worst dlc pack I’ve ever paid for in any WWE game I’ve ever had. It’s cool to have Pat but there are so many people that could’ve been in the rest of the pack instead of Pat’s random buddies. Who at WWE or 2K actually sat there and thought this was a fantastic idea?
The did this in madden already, roman reigns, al bundy and a few other celebs were added to ultimate team
2K should realise that there are gamers outside US. Pat Mcafee isn't all that popular outside US. As someone who isn't from US, I haven't even heard of him.
Why not just put the ball in a seperate update next week and let us get the dlc on time? And if it wasn’t delayed for the ball what the hell is the delay for?

Imagine if they had gone with a "Grid Iron Grapplers" pack with actual wresters who used to play pro football like Mcafee, Mongo McMichael, Ernie Ladd etc. I doubt anyone would have been upset.
My theory is that wwe 2k is a series built upon adding onto a now out of date base and someone at 2k has been trying desperately to fix or add new content, but doing so messes with so many other things that it keeps causing bug after bug. So my guess is someone added a football, caused all wrestlers to lose their legs or whatever, and 2k is spending the next week trying to patch this mess
Or adding a ton of content to the dlc pack. Like bonus superstars and weapons. And fixes, hoping for Brock to get patched back in🤞

@@dmc81268 I understand that thought but if you want them to not make the mistake of adding someone back. Just stop getting the games. I plan on skipping if they don't patch in Lesnar. I feel cheated and I won't have it until 2K makes it right. If enough of us skip a couple of next wrestling games they may start listening finally.

I'd like a swerve and the DLC has wrestlers of the past who played football be in this pack. Some that come to mind is Mongol of the 4 Horsemen, Goldberg, and that one guy who took on Bam Bam in the Main Event of Wrestlemania that one year.
Just cancel the pack but keep the moves in.
I'm just gonna say it, so don't hate on me, I'd rather have Pat mcafee and his friends, that costs $10.00, then have the aew fight forever Toni Storm dlc that costs $25.00 for 1 outdated character.
A football pack would’ve made sense if it were like Lawerence Taylor who was in a Mania match against Bam Bam (would’ve also loved to see Bam Bam back)
Steve McMicheal, a former WCW guy and Horseman. Who also made an appearance at Mania and Monday Night Raw.

Granted it still wouldn’t be the most popular pack but at least it would make more sense from a wrestling standpoint.

So my game just downloaded update and the hidden blade is a new move locked called the blindside
This is gonna be the worst pack in the history of the wwe games I could see if they would’ve added him to a group of actual wrestlers like we wanted but adding his friends in a game that have literally no wrestling experience is wild to me
Universe mode won’t even open up… since the update my show is frozen… another update is needed like today lol

I could honestly care less who's in the pack. I don't see what all the hate's about. I get it, but I just don't think there's a need to have a fit over it.
That WWE 2K has always been delayed! TBH, with the Women's Legends on DLC pack (unlike Pat McAfee show) continues, I'll choose Kelly Kelly. She'd the former WWE Divas Champion and she is the improved wrestler like she can moves.
I hoping they're using this delay to course correct and finally give us the commentators as playable characters. That would make the most sense considering that Micheal Cole and Wade Barrett did have WrestleMania matches. Cory Graves and Byron Saxton we're also WWE superstars at one point before becoming commenters.
See that’s why they should’ve just went on and put pat in 2k22 because why hold other stars from getting in the game
As a non-American, this is the most nothing dlc ever to me. I've genuinely never heard of anyone in this outside of Pat McAfee, nor do I care about any of them
My guess is they realize that pretty much no one is happy about the DLC, so they wanted more time to add more to it as a "surprise"... They definitely have to do something as they really didn't help themselves up to this point with it. Of course, Pat criticizing people's opinions while announcing the delay early didn't help the press there either...
When it comes to the theory that they will all have some cool, new moves, I would be cool with that. Moves that we've all been wanting, but are not actively used so are less likely to see in a game... Give me some of the stuff I liked back in the day that I haven't seen in a while due to wrestlers retiring, etc. I think a new match type would be pretty cool too, maybe make that a free edition with the update as an apology/thanks for those whom bought this DLC early only to find out it doesn't even have any wrestlers in it...
they should add Mongo, Kevin Greene, and LT if they want to add the football players. add the players who actually wrestled and were relevant.
Lets be honest here if anyone gets this pack either u already have the season pass and it gets auto downloaded to ur game or u just wanted those new ospreay/mike bailey moves
Can you guys stop complaining about the Pat McAfee pack!! you’re freaked out about new players but yet you’re not freaked out about the fact that we have over five John Cena‘s, over three undertakers, three Randy Orton’s. they’re coming to the game so let’s just wait for it to be released and enjoy it for what it is. But I see and that I also noticed that they haven't fixed the bug yet, for example in a cage fight where the opponent is where the wires and the cage are and when they try to run and do an exercise it doesn't work

2k20 dlc did bring in alot of kool moves attire parts and crazy arenas that aside no lol
The throw button probably just triggers a kicking animation for the football, that or the kick is the default attack and you can throw it by hand
Actually I remember when football games had wrestling moves before nfl and pats friends were probably a good reason why these moves were added because they are placeholders for wwe25 for possibly a cross over like svr ecw 2008
It's called rugby not football. Football is meant to play with your feet not your hands.
@AssembleShow honestly, not even extra weapons or move sets will make up for this horrible DLC pack! The only way to make up for this pack is for 2K to give us additional wrestlers as DLC, but not models or wrestlers that have been in previous games but new ones that have not been in the game before. But I guess that's asking for too much since it is 2K we're talking about so I won't get my hopes up!
I agree with this but I'd also like to see Brock getting patched in, all 4 versions. I know there is other superstars that are hidden new ones that aren't playable they could give us them too.

@JeronRush327 technically, it wouldn't be free. It would be to replace the 4 other garbage DLC in that pack other than McAfee that NOBODY will ever use and that we PAID for as part of the season pass!
I'm going to hold out hope that this DLC has been a ruse for months and the new DLC will have McAfee and the rest of the Wyatt Sick6. I know it's a long shot, but what a surprise that would be.
You do know Roman Reigns is in Madden 24, right? And other WWE stars are in Call of Duty? They were badass and pretty dope to play as, with cool abilities.
Sources say they delaying it b3caus3 they want to add a football in regards to the Pat Mac pack. The moves are in the patch 1.13. And the dlc stars of the latest pack are locked. So are they giving us false info? Plus. Like this is the weakest patch ever for 2k
DLC moves are kinda cool with Will Ospreay's Hidden blade, multiple Coffin Drop and some "Speedball" Mile Bailey moves... But that's it.
Basically, a useless DLC.
PS: Oh yeah, and don't forget the excellent "MyFaction" cards that will be included... Sheesh.

Maybe it's delayed cause there is WWE superstars being added to call of duty tomorrow (July 24) and they think they wouldn't get much gameplay on the new DLC cause of that

Its one thing having part of a season pass value wasted on such a useless pack, but its entirely another that this useless pack is the reason we won't get the much better pack (with actual wrestlers in it) until September (because time and money had to be spent making this one first). I wish they'd swapped the release dates around for these DLCs so that the Pat McAfee pack was the last released so that it could be deservedly ignored without holding up the release of more actual wrestlers.
5:56 funny thing is, EA actually did add wwe superstars to madden ultimate team, which is basically my faction but with nfl players, they added roman reigns and some other superstars, i can’t remember

The only reason they delayed the DLC, its because WWE will probably do some kind of promotion next week on Raw
I previously said 2K doesn't care about things like fixing Money in the Bank cash ins. Now they're delaying the worst DLC ever...to add a football.
And their latest patch did nothing close to fixing MitB cash ins.

You want a better game? Don't buy 2k25. You want changes, you have to speak 2K's (the company, not the developers) language: money. It's all they care about and it's all they see us as.
When they don't get their money is when we get a better game.
Now is the perfect to strike while the iron is hot. Cancel the Pat Mcafee pack and give us another pack early(maybe the december one).. meanwhile start a new pack with TNA. THE IMPACT PACK.

What makes me mad is if you can put a wrestler kicking a ball as a weapon why cant the put con-chair-to, chair on head, chair on leg and arms back in the game? and even the table finisher instead of a default flying one...
They should of then the guys from this pack we custom myrise characters. There at least would of been some hype around these people in this pack
Before reading comments and the full video, I think it’s delayed because they will add a couple superstars like Oba Femi, AOP,l.
With this game, this dlc pack and the way they’ve handled everything this year, prolly gonna skip on next years game or buy base game and go back to buying packs separately like I used to as a kid.
Imagine madden adding playable characters that were like Brian last or Steve and Larson and how upset football fans would be. I think pat is great but you can't blame wrestling fans for not wanting his buddies in the game.
