Isn't the Neapolitan Chord very unusual AT THIS POSITION?
Take notice of the cross relation (A->Ab).

not really useful if the goal is learn to write in Bach style… some stuff is actually true like the text metaphor, but the rest is not really accurate or useful to understand the real process he did to achieve this.
Some people really did damage with false suppositions of how certain things may be related, usually simple counterpoint reasons and tricks are the true reason behind his choices
