Thanks for being here! I’m trying out a little experiment: I’ll be writing down some key questions from this video in the comments below. Feel free to share your thoughts, reply to others, and let’s start a meaningful conversation! Your perspective matters, and I can’t wait to hear what you think.
To me, a movie is more than a series of moving images. It's the sum total of the passion injected by all of the contributors to the production. When an actor totally commits to a character, something special happens. Examples are Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie and Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump.
Interesting video! The only movie that has truly affected me emotionally is Rocky. Sylvester Stallone went to great lengths to make it realistic to the point that many of the boxing scenes included actual traded punches. I think an AI version would not be authentic enough to be inspiring and would likely not create the same emotion. I am an old boomer, so I could be out of touch with the times. 😊
Depending on each AI tools' guideline and the law in each countries. But if AI can make movies for each individuals and personalized, you don't even have to worry about it because in that case , that will be a personal use.(you can't share tho)
Not sure at this point but in the future eventually, yes. I guess more people use AI for filmmaking purpose, quality gets better as a tool and it will be very helpful.

Who should decide what kind of stories AI tells?
How do you feel about the idea of an AI director or an AI scriptwriter?
For those of you in the VFX or film industry: does AI open new doors for creativity, or does it pose a threat to your job?

What kind of film moves you emotionally, and what do you consider a ‘good’ film?

@ thanks for sharing your thoughts! Yes, Rocky is a great film and a big part of the success is because of the actor!
Who do you think owns the output of AI-generated content? Is it the creators, the tech companies, or no one?

Do you think James Cameron could make better films than Avatar with the help of AI in the future?
