Longbows are only good for long ranged environments where you have multiple turns for free attacks. Shortbows don't deal with the Volley trait so you can fire them in cramped rooms. Well worth the damage dice drop from 1d8 to 1d6.
That or a Gakgung, which is a specialist monk bow form Treasure Vaults.
Troy is an example of a GM taking a pre-written AP and making it his own. Love these guys.
It's been said before but needs to be said again. Massive kudos to the production team for the top shelf intro sequence. I'm inclined to skip these on most vids after the first viewing or two - this one defies that. Engaging, fun and slick every time.

As a Grinch myself, I'm hesitant to say this but I think I've found a solution to Troy's conundrum about what he's going to do when the prerecords are past Christmas. Stop celebrating Christmas on Gatewalkers but celebrate it on Fodder, since I think those are recorded closer to the actual air date. Joe kind of has to take one for the team as host of Fodder but at least the rest of the cast gets a break.
A better idea is to stop doing out of touch recordings that don't even reach the average playtime of a PF session.
Like seriously, what is the point of recording so far out if they're just going to be rushed mini games anyway?

I am loving this AP so far, and I think it’s going to be an incredible story. I can also appreciate a role play heavy ep, some of my favourites from Giantslayer were exactly that. But an entire ep to get through a conversation with one NPC and a single enemy battle ending with one attack… the pace is brutally slow.
I know Troy hates the little gourd people but that was fucking hilarious and I for one vote for them to join the group as NPC companions.

Merry Christmas! Finally catching up on Christmas Day and appreciating Troy’s sweater. Sorry skid 😅❤ also the ambient music is amazing. Side note after reading some comments: I love the longer combats especially in the beginning of the new adventures. Seeing how the characters work together in combat is one of my favourites in any show ^^ but I can see how it can get repetitive for some listeners. Not me tho, fight away ❤

Rocky is a film all other Rocky movies are movies. I also think A case could be made for Fistd Blood being a film all subsequent Rambo’s are of course movies.
I'm with Troy on the leshies, I think they are one of the dumbest ancestries I've seen. But hey, more power to those who like them. To each their own!

You know it might behoove you to re release after the live release, because it doesn't refresh when the episode actually airs. Meaning that when people get a 20 hour notification they might open it, see it's not for another 20 hours, close it and then forget to come back.
Glass cannon is my favorite film.

Troy should have trimmed the fat on the encounters - APs are overstuffed with encounters to make XP goals. It hurts a short play game like this imo. With how short their sessions are, the story progresses at a snails pace.
I could handle another 30 to 45 minutes.
Honestly my only complaint about Glass Cannon in general is just far too much combat. They're one of the funniest actual play shows but I usually skip combat when listening to actual play shows.
I love combats in PF2e, honestly they are one of my favorite parts of the game, however, I also have to admit that Paizo does indeed tend to overstuff APs with combat encounters to meet XP goals. So by all means Troy could trim them down a little bit, or just add more opportunities for diplomatic solutions/avoiding with stealth or deception etc.
Same- LOVE LOVE LOVE the show and their banter/personalities, but combat and rules discussion weigh the show down. Hard to balance the rules lawyer fans against the RP fans, but if there were more environmental effects to the combats, or additional goals (chases, save/get X before Y happens, battle maps that change over combat, etc) I think that would add interest to fights rather than just hack and slash. That’s what I try to do in my games (which aren’t on a massive online network with schedules etc so easier said than done, don’t hate me GCN this is one of my favorite shows out there! Just giving my two cents)
If the episodes were longer I definitely wouldn't mind but sometimes the RP really gets to me. I love it a lot but sometimes I turn on the newest episode and they RP for most of it and make hardly any progression.
If only they had gone after that fox.
