Yes, totally my situation. He put his ex on the pedestal and demonized me. She and I are total opposites. She has very little patience/interest in the people around her. They get on her nerves/she'd rather be alone. Yet she believes she's an empath. I, on the other hand, really like people. And want to do what I can to make them feel special/important. I want to brighten their lives. Now, the masculine shares my values. But he doesn't acknowledge them in me. In fact, he does just the opposite. He tells her and me that he believes, deep-down, that she loves and cares deeply about others. But that, sometime in her life, she's been very hurt, so it's been buried. And he's the one to bring it out. So that they can kind of carry this mission out together. This had hurt me pretty badly. She, on the other hand, laughed in his face. Insisting that he's wrong, she's fine the way she is. Just wise about people, etc. He and I have a lot in common, enjoyed each other's company. Whereas she..couldn't stand the sight of him. One argument after another with these two, always drama. She thought of him as weak, alright. Because of his drinking problem. She has no tolerance for people she considers weak if they struggle with addictions. So, it was this cycle of her always accusing him and him lying about having alcohol. Yes, I can see how the other woman has played him and still has a hold on him. I’ve walked away so they can manipulate each other…I’m out of this picture now. Yes, totally my situation. He put his ex on the pedestal and demonized me. She and I are total opposites. She has very little patience/interest in the people around her. They get on her nerves/she'd rather be alone. Yet she believes she's an empath.
I, on the other hand, really like people. And want to do what I can to make them feel special/important. I want to brighten their lives.
Now, the masculine shares my values. But he doesn't acknowledge them in me. In fact, he does just the opposite. He tells her and me that he believes, deep-down, that she loves and cares deeply about others. But that, sometime in her life, she's been very hurt, so it's been buried. And he's the one to bring it out. So that they can kind of carry this mission out together. This had hurt me pretty badly. She, on the other hand, laughed in his face. Insisting that he's wrong, she's fine the way she is. Just wise about people, etc.
He and I have a lot in common, enjoyed each other's company. Whereas she..couldn't stand the sight of him. One argument after another with these two, always drama. She thought of him as weak, alright. Because of his drinking problem. She has no tolerance for people she considers weak if they struggle with addictions. So, it was this cycle of her always accusing him and him lying about having alcohol. It was exhausting being around them. Her, occasionally giving him scraps of attention. And him..just a doormat. Taking whatever he could get. Sometimes crying, begging for her love.
I kind of think he was her narcissistic supply.
Can I I cannot tell you how much you were speaking to me. I knew all of this towards the end before he went away and decided to trust the dark entity over me. I don’t know what to do I I do know what to do.
