I'm so glad you learned something from this! It actually took me about 3 weeks to be able to do this picking pattern and not mess up haha. The key is to not get discouraged and don't give up. If you really want to learn how to do something, keep trying even if your fingers hurt and you're just getting frustrated. Keep trying, and eventually you'll get it :)
This really helped! At first I wasn't getting it because I wasn't pushing the strings down hard enough but now I can play this (I pluck better with just my pointer finger) Thank you so much!
I spent like 2 hours learning the strumming but it was worth it! Thank you so much! Also are there any other songs you can do that specific strumming with?
I've recently decided that my next challenge would be to learn this song with your tutorial. It was REALLY clear, and very well explained. Thank you so much. As soon as I really learn this (things are still sounding mechanical) I'll let you know. Thank you sooo much!
Omg thank u! I found the chords on another website but I could not figure out the plucking. You saved me from having a meltdown in frustration! Thank you! ❤️
I'm from Spain and I don't speak english and when I see videos like this I don't understand nooooothing at all xD but I could understand this so thaaanks you!!!! ^^
Thanks for doing this. I actually think I'll be able to play this and I only started 2 days ago. I know all those cords already and I too play D the same way. Just need to practice the plucking pattern. :) it's a beautiful song so fingers crossed.
Hey❤️ I liked your video so much today, cuz your tutorial was so much easier and more beautiful than the others. We have the same ukulele btw😂 I hope you could make more of the tutorial videos. Love u
So, I know nothing about ukulele's or guitar's or any instrument really, and I actually feel like I learned a lot from this! I was kind of amazed the whole time because I never realized how much actually went into the instrumental part of songs.. this was just too cool to watch and you explain everything so thoroughly :) How long does it generally take you to learn how to play a song? I feel like it would take me forever to memorize the picking pattern! :p
I got my uke for Christmas this year, and this would've helped me out a lot, but we hold our ukuleles the opposite way so everything is backward for me :(
I am totally new to the ukelele and I'm teaching myself how to play. I've never taken guitar or piano or anything. This was super super easy to follow. But, what song would you recommend as a first song and will you please do a video for it? Thank you! Defiantly subscribing
the first song I learned is I'm yours by Jason Mraz. just search up the chords online and look at pictures. it will show you exactly where to put your fingers and it's only 4 chords! Also Hakuna Matata is really easy, and Somewhere Over the Rainbow is a little more complicated, but still pretty easy.
simple times...this was filmed on a iBotato guys
