    Excellent video, well done. I love the transparency, teaching people to catch fish. My kind of dude, thumbs up and keep up the good work.

    Good stuff man. There are a tone of videos out there of guys fishing, of techniques. This is the type of stuff that I think a lot of guys, including myself struggle at, breaking down maps and bodies of water. Where to be, when to be. Keep up the good work

    Great explanation of how to use the maps to find potential areas. Going to put this to use the next couple days at CL.

    Wow! What an amazing and in-depth video. I can image a bunch of tournament guys watching this and thinking whooaa man TMI !!! Thank you for what you do and seem extremely passionate about. I along with many others I’m sure appreciate you sharing with us...

      Thanks for the comment! I also fish tournaments but there are no secrets on Clearlake so I'm not afraid to share. It's just fishing and it's meant to be fun. But it's a lot funner when your catching fish so we're just trying to help.

    Headed to clearlake from March 26-28 for a fishing trip. Could we use this similar pattern maybe just fish it shallower? This is awesome info by the way!💯

    • @TheBassHookup
      @TheBassHookup  3 года назад +1

      At that time the fish will be feeding in full swing. You can use the same info but yes, move up into the shallower areas. Down south target that 4-10 foot zone. The bite should be really good up north out in front of holiday harbour as well. Good luck!

    going up April 22-26 will the fish be in spawning mode? or will they still be transitioning up to the shallows?

    • @TheBassHookup
      @TheBassHookup  8 месяцев назад

      Most fish will be in full on spawn mode and you will already have some post spawn and some pre spawn but I’d say 70% will be on beds or very close to it. I hope you have a great trip!

    Staying at Pirates cove very excited March 5-8 will fish be moved ups and maybe spawning?

    • @TheBassHookup
      @TheBassHookup  3 года назад

      They won't be spawning but with the weather this week and the possible rain on Saturday the 6th you may have picked the perfect week. I definitely think the fish will be shallower then what we had to fish and close to spawning flats. We will actually be up there the 6th fishing a tournament and will pot the video shortly after so you can see how we did. Good luck up there!

    Great video! What brand is that multi colored line on your reel? And are the different colors to indicate depth?

    • @TheBassHookup
      @TheBassHookup  3 года назад

      It Pline but it's still in the prototype process and not for sale yet. The colors change every 3 feet so you could use it as depth and it makes it easier to see a strike when it's laying flat on top of the water.

    • @TheBassHookup
      @TheBassHookup  3 года назад +1

      Yeah I'm using westernbass.com and then go to lake reports, then select the lake. From there click on the map and expand it to full screen. It's a navionics map that you can view via westernbass.com
