- Join Braden, Taylor, Shane (or as you might know him, Postart), and Macho Matt as they discuss their favorite LDRS experiences. Braden just returned from LDRS 42 in New York, where there was no shortage of rain, wind, and even lightning. Did that make it a bad event?

I had an awesome time at LDRS. Def worth it, the rain wasn't so bad and when it was clear the flying was great. Flew 3 rockets and helped out with several more.
I'm looking forward to seeing all of you at Airfest!
I drove by and saw Braden filming his intro for LDRS 39. 39 was the best.
Saturday was windy, but I know of 5 people who had successful L3 certs that day! No guts no glory! 😆
The weather looked brutal. I'm glad there were still a lot of flights. LDRS41 started off slow for the first two days.
I only flew a third of what I had planned. Had to pull one off the pad on Thursday because the ceiling got lowered at the last minute. I didn’t even fly on Friday. Keeping a positive attitude - I still enjoyed myself overall, the Tra Tech and banquet were fun. But lets be honest - the rain, the mud, the low ceilings, did make it challenging.
Plus the 15 - 18+ mph wind on Saturday??? That cause a lot of field rash on rockets (mine included) as they got drug across the fields by the chute sails!
I had an awesome time.
I think that there was more flights than last year as well
28:00 hey, that was me!
I didnt fly half of what I planned and only one of my M flights but still had a great time.
