You may want to put another cross member near where the original one was located. It appears the the right side of your frame in that area has a wave in it already. Every frame I’ve seen with the factory cross member removed has a frame crack in the same spot from the top to the first vertical hole near the back of the right cab mount. The frame will flex too muck with that factory cross member removed. For many engines that cross member needs to be removed. A tubular one can be added to clear your specific engine. Nice Trick
I am looking to CV swap into a 56 F100 but I want the look of the wheel to line up with the wheelwell, so I read the CV lowers front end by 4 inches, do you see a way of setting it up to get less drop
Besides budget reasons, I don't know why this swap is so popular. They always look like shit. They're so wide, you can only use wheels with all the back spacing. They're not good for bags, you can't use coilovers with those huge spring pockets. #killthecvswap
Why destroy the original truck and lose its resale value and overall worth and appreciation and uniqueness if people did this to a Model T thay'd be classified as an idiot.. .
Thank you for spending the time showing how to wield in lower control arm bushing your way.
Yeah no problem glad I could help.
