I bought a 110 new in 71. Other than regular maintenance and a deck rebuild in the early 90's it's still mowing. I gave it to my grandson and he gave it a pretty paint job and just loves it.
@@LocustMotorWorks l really don't think it will ever die. Really all my kids and now grandkids learned how to drive on the old 110. I myself have a JD ZTURN. We are a Green family for sure. I do love the ZTURN but that 110 is one tuff tractor.
I've got a 1975 110 and she is still running well, with one exception, I think I over filled the oil and she puked it out the oil dip stick tube. What a mess. She is also starting to use oil a little more as I have to put in about half a quart after a full tank of gas. This John Deere has been in GA, CA, NY, and now SC thanks to my Air Force career. It has pushed a 36" snow blower up in NY and it still runs the 47" mower. I wish JD would have still made something like this beast of a lawn garden tractor now. I had to buy a new mower as I think this one is on its last legs. RIP JD.
She's a runner!!
Let’s go!
Similar to the 140 I grew up mowing and blowing with. It's still around and runs but has been retired from chore duties.
Cool! Thank you for watching👍🏻

And she still mows too!!
Thank you for watching👍🏻
I have a 1973 JD 110 with the snow blower. Works awesome when it runs. Dealing with rust in the tank blocking the gas line and shut off
👍🏻👍🏻
A styled square fender I spy??

Great job, just keep a Deere from running. Does your "A" run?
The styled A runs but the unstyled one is still a work in progress. Thank you for watching
Me and my papa fix me one John Deere want 110 and it’s still absences since
It's a garden tractor not a lawn mower
Wow mike thanks for being sooooo educational…. It cuts grass, looks like a mower to me
