1:53 The great John Elefante giving an example of how to sing the chorus to backup-singing band members for the great John Schlitt. Two of the greatest singers around in one studio.

As far as I know Elefante brothers did a lot of things on Petra's discography, including backing vocals, lyrics, instrumental and so on...

What a family man! Driving the typical 1980s mini-van with wooden panels!😂😂😂

@@AllenPendletonWhat about Ronny Cates? He played on one of the best Petra albums (On Fire; Petra Praise 1; Beyond Belief; Unseen Power; Wake-Up Call and No Doubt) these albums are probably the best Petra albums ever and ofcourse through this albums Petra had the "dream team", remember? If you ask 70% of Petra's fans they will tell you that the "dream team" included (Bob Hartman, John Schlitt, John Lawry, Louie Weaver and Ronny Cates)!!! Also Ronny had the best backing vocals along with John Lawry especially in live shows!!! Ronnie's voice was heavy and perfect for John Schlitt's voice live and in the studio!

Your life has been an example and an inspiration to me, an example of a believer, God bless you and use you to be light where there is darkness. Remember ... He who endures to the end ... It will be safe.

I knew most of that. Just couldn't recall them singing back up vocals on any of their albums.

Born again, society's acceptable way to have a nervous breakdown. Good thing I'll always have my Head East albums to listen to. What a waste of talent.

John and his family, not to mention his millions of fans, would disagree. When he was in Head East he was a heroin addict.
