Posiblemente no se quemen, tiene que ver mas con el amplificador. Si el amplificador tienen demasiada potencia y el parlante no puede soportar esa tolerancia entonces la quemara. 48w no es mucho, pero probablemente tu amplificador no pasa esa potencia entonces esta bien.
