I cannot decide between the cavaliers, the cadets, or the crossmen. I may not ever pick a favorite tbh.

Why do they go all the way down every time?

Just a theory, 1) no reason to wear out their arms before a show even at the end of the season when they’re at peak strength 2) forcing them to reset the embouchure after each entrance to work on immediate center of pitch 3) could be traditional

To relax so we can focus on sending the sound straight out with zero tension

Probably, crown sounds better than cavaliers, but cavaliers is cavaliers. Blue devils, Santa Clara vanguard, Cadets and cavaliers have my respect. All of them are the best in DCI history. Cavaliers is unique.

So, who copied who...Cavaliers copy the Crown or vise versa?

You do realize tuning sequences have been around for a while right

It's not necessarily 'copied', it's hard to make original tuning sequences as they all are meant to be very basic.

I mean, that’s not the point I was trying to make.
Any one can play F G A Bb to tune their instrument, Crown did not come up with this concept

it would certainly help if it wasn't recorded with a cell phone or in a echoey auditorium , but crown does deserve best brass

@@samwilliams874 Can't argue that particular point. I'm sure it sounds 50x better outside. But I stick to my original comment.

@@michaelmeyer2725 i agree that crown has a better tuning sequence. i dont agree with unsportsmanlike conduct in the activity

Why are you comparing crown and cavies... it's not like crown invented the tuning sequence
