There are homeless people that make more than me. This one lady would ask for $20 outside the grocery store and all it takes is 1 person and you've made $20 an hour. One time the security guard said she made $300 one day.
Korey is getting plenty of these homeless stories, at some point he's gonna run into one that wants some cash for giving him so much content for the show. "You know, I heard that story you told about me watching p**n on the side of the road. I feel like I should get some kind of commission. A 20 will do."
"I don't have any change." "Alright God bless 😔." "Aww now I feel bad 😭!" "Oh no that guy is a veteran! We're gonna have to give him some change 👨✈️🥺!!" Night of the Living Homeless. Love that episode lol 😂!
This happen to me one time I bought a homeless man some Popeyes the $5 buck box I turn around with no hesitation he threw that shit in the trash I was heated
Yeah a couple of them have like little square and cash app tags that you can give to but in our local area however one big thing is that they're all basically in cahoots with each other I call him the shift workers. This group works with a lady who has kids and tends to get a bunch of money and they basically have like certain hours of the day that they stand at the corner near the Panera and every time they'll be some stupid idiot in a test like trying to give them food and the thing is they'll just throw the food down in front of them cuz they don't want that they want money. It got really bad one day because there was like a fight with one guy who got out of his car and poured the soup on his face because he does not like ungrateful people pretty sure the police were involved but I left at that point.
Yeah there's this one guy who drives around town parks at a plaza and starts begging usually it's the same sob story of he ran outta gas and his wife is pregnant. Last time I saw him I was like is this the same wife from the last 2 years I've seen you is she still pregnant? Why don't you sell that car that you drive everywhere with?
You really need a smart phone to get by these days. How many employers expect you to have reliable internet access and a number to reach you at? If you find yourself un housed you’ll probably keep your phone, or at very least find an affordable one somewhere. They're being smart, and if you got a phone you can get PayPal.
Me too! I remember years ago I went to a local chicken store in New York a young teen ask me for money for food. I gave him a dollar then he ask if I can give him more. I said I couldn't, which was true. Then a lady comes while I'm waiting for the food and the same boy ask for money and she gave him a dollar then I noticed him standing right next to her and was eyeing her wallet to see if she had more money. And I see him ask her for more money! I mean I don't mind helping, even though I know most of the time they are using it for illintent, but you can't take advantage of another, they didn't have to give you; don't feel entitled to ask for more if a person already gave you something.
Whenever a down-on-their-luck person asks me for money for food, I rarely ever have anything on my person that would be convenient enough to hand out. But one time after being asked, I actually did have a small bag of peanuts on me, and you shoulda seen the way this guy's face fell. Don't go playing any poker games, slick. On another occasion a guy asked me for food money so he could buy some fudge from a dessert place, and when I offered him some of my almonds he just pointed to his mouth and said "No teeth!". I think I ended up giving him the money. Being homeless makes everything more complicated.
that is my nightmare. I've been saying it for a couple of years now I dunno what ima do when I say I have no cash and they bust out a phone and say they take cashapp paypall zelle all that stuff. Next thing you know they're gonna have tip options too
Like an episode of Seinfeld Newman the mailman would do George a favor. But only if he buys him @ the pizzeria 1 Calzone two slices of pepperoni pizza 🍕 a Large coke and a cannoli as dessert
Hey but at least the guy that you talk to was willing to get food like I said in my previous comment a lot of the ones out here will ask for food but whenever they get it either as soon as the person leaves or whatever they'll just throw it on the ground I'm not even kidding you near the Panera there was a pile of bread. Panera's caught on to it and basically every hour will have their manager come out give them water and then tell them to get out before they call the police she's extremely passive aggressive (and racist but that's a whole other thing)
Yo I use to joke about this lmao A homeless guy ask you for money and you ask if he excepts debit cards and imagine he pulls the card machine lmao But in all seriousness I feel horrible every time I don’t give money because I have to pick and choose who I give to because I have to go with better judgement bc In NYC you don’t know if he’s homeless or a crack head
Can you trust trading paypal information with a homeless person.....who can somehow afford the device to do that, and have an account (which requires a bank account, if I'm not mistaken)?
