All Maneskin members have great sense of humour and while they're very committed to their profession they don't take too seriously their "rockstar persona" they face everything with irony and often remark during interviews to bd just normal people in spite of how their everyday life has changed in the past two years. They're not shy of being provocative in their videos if the song requires it and play with stereotypes but always with irony. In IWBYS mv they play with sexual freedom reminding us we don't need to like it to let other adults be free to experience something, while in Mammamia, a song about stereotypes, their video is about team members dream of killing their "primadonna" frontman (it also came out in.October so in perfect Halloween style)...😊 Gossip is not so much about the American Dream or Americans but about a certain kind of life where everybody and everything are fake and connections are made and based mainly on self- interest and there's not much sincerity around, everything is fake and today's friends may turn against you and viceversa if convenient... this was ispired by their staying in LA where this mechanism is a way to social enhancement.
