Hi, thanks for the great tutorial!
I followed everything as shown, however it seems the grass is taking ages to render, struggling even to get beyond building light cache.
Normally I can render other materials reasonably fast at high resolutions. I have a GTX 1080 with 16GB of RAM.
Any ideas why the above might be happening? The render seems so fast in your video.

maybe you made a very large terrain

Maybe I could look into Chaos Cloud.
