Another great one. Believe it or not, and remember I'm a real old Florida boy, that Snook get up as far as NC in the summer. Until I spend a few summer stop overs with the grand kids at Topsail Beach NC, which is just above the Wilmington inlet, the Snook rock up there. And to think I was stationed at Elizabeth City NC in Coast Guard for years and never new it and we fished a lot.

I have lived in central Florida all my adult life, I have fished most of central Florida. I have caught many, many nice snook! IMHO without a doubt, snook to me, is the best eating fish in Florida (including bass). My nickname is Linesider, I just love that lateral line down the snook. This fish is the, pound for pound, greatest fighting sports fish you can catch. When someone catches a snook for the first time, it’s not the fish that is hooked, it’s the person who caught the fish! They’ll never be the same!!!
