Is upgrading Oblivion Orb into Morello actually worth it? Personally, I just sit on it for the whole game, and only upgrade it as a last item (or sometimes sell it for something else, since you already have Sorc Shoes + Void Staff for the pen at that point). Katarina ult already applies grevious wounds anyway, so even against stuff like Soraka or Vlad, I think it's better to just build straight into Zhonyas after Oblivion Orb instead of fully building Morello. What do you think?
I tried Spellbinder 2nd and Deathcap 3rd Item, you wont believe the dmg output! this works pretty good if you are snowballing, getting your 100ap from spellbinder in combination with deathcap gives you heavy ap and you can clean 1v5 probl. :)
I think it's a good idea to build a Liandry/Maw as a last item aswell if you really need to adapt , but definitely deathcap would be a last item must. Nice vid man
Soul Slasher Deathcap is only like 3600g nowadays, so I myself usually go for cap after 2-3 items depending on whether I need zhonyas or not. Its a huge power spike and if youre snowballing hard with gb u can get it with ease. For last item I usually build a situational item, like randuins omen, liandrys, spirit visage or something else. And yes you can build some sustain since her dmg isnt instant, but after 4 items you should be able to delete any squishy anyway so tank is good.
Jo Katlife, it would be pretty pretty helpful if you can make a video where you explain a couple of matchups or make a video where you say how you should play as katarina in lane. You could also link the videos of you where you play against a specific matchup. Like Professor akali did.
for the runes i really recommend the new Ultimate Hunter its very good in katarina plays i have it and my cooldown of my ulti is just 10 sec per kill its OP
What do you think of the new resolve rune on the PBE? It’s in the same tree as second wind (mirror shell and iron skin got removed). The rune gives you 60 hp at the start of the game and then after 4 takedowns that hp gets converted into adaptive AD or AP ( 9 and 15 respectively I believe). I could see this being a good rune if you take resolve in combo with bone plating to help you get through the laning phase but then transitions into offense to help you get kills later.
although i do find the new liandriys is much better against high hp team comps along with void. the max hp burn + 10% dmg increase is great. not as good against the squishies but if they have tank top jg and support totally worth it
its not my first option to go for Resolve tree cause i feel like im losing a lot of damage, specialy after nerf, but you make it seems realy good im gonna try, anyway, thaanks Katlife

Mechanics aren't that hard with Kat. The thing you need to learn with Kat is WHEN to go in. You need to know what cooldowns to wait for to be blown before you go in. If you jump in while malph still has ult you inted.

katarina's passive verocity is when you kill a champion all of your skill cd is reduced by 15 secs and picking up a dagger will reduce shunpo's cd by 87%
