    Roasted Chicken Recipe
    Ingredients:
    • 1 roaster chicken, 3-4 pounds
    • ¼ sliced lemon
    • ¼ sliced orange
    • ¼ cup pesto oil
    • 1 pound small potatoes
    • 4 carrots, peeled and chopped
    • 3 celery stalks, chopped
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    Directions:
-In a glass baking dish, prep one trussed “tied” chicken by inserting the citrus into the cavity.
-Rub the outside of the chicken with the pesto oil, being sure not to miss any of the skin.
-Season the chicken with salt and pepper then place the dish onto the speed oven bake tray inside of the speed oven.
-Select speed cook on the display, scroll to poultry using the selector, then press it to select.
-Scroll to whole chicken and press the selector.
-Use the selector to choose a 3-4 pound chicken and press the selector twice more to begin the cooking process.
-Using the selector, cut the cook time in half to about 14 minutes.
-When the oven beeps and displays “check for doneness,” toss the carrots, potatoes and celery in olive oil and add to the baking dish.
-Using the selector, set the cook time back to 14 minutes and continue cooking until finished.

Thanks for sharing this video. I did not even know my microwave had this awesome feature. No need to use my big oven every night. I especially love the No preheat feature.

What size glass roasting pan are you using for this dish? I have an older Advantium 1.2 cubic feet? Thanks

      Hi Bob!
Thanks for asking. We will look into this to see if we can see the size of the roasting pan used in this video but, in the meantime, we wanted to say that the largest rectangular dish that can be used is an 11" x 7" dish in the over-the range models and 13" x 9" in the wall oven models.
The best way to determine whether your pan will fit is to measure it at a diagonal from corner to corner. As the turntable rotates, this is the longest dimension; as long as it is less than the internal dimensions of your Advantium cavity, the pan can be used. The Owner's Manual covers the proper cookware in detail. More details can be seen in this article: spklr.io/6050i46E
Thanks for your patience in the meantime!
      All the best. -MS

      Hi again Bob,
Thanks for your patience. The roasting pan used here is about 9.5 x 13.5.
      Hope this helps!
      Best wishes. -MS
