- Second race of the year and a very popular race in St. George, Utah. The Wizzards setup an awesome course and I had a blast racing it. Unfortunately I went down a little more than half way in and messed up my hand and my ribs, so I had to ride it a lot slower. I was bummed that it basically took me out of the race competitively, but i was still able to finish.
I enjoyed your video. Sorry you had the bad fall but we’ve all been there.
Hey, thanks! Yeah, it sucked, but all I could do was learn from it and be better for the next race.
Good job pushing through after that wreck. It looked like it hurt pretty good.
Yeah, I definitely needed to finish. What is frustrating is how much it hurt for how lame the crash was.
@@dirticon the lame ones always seem to hurt the worst too. I wrecked a few weeks ago going down a hill. Not even a super technical one. Just a stupid loose rocky hill. Went over the handlebars because it was like I totally forgot what the hell I was doing for a second.
@@octanejimmy it is crazy how fast things can go sideways when you are going down a steep trail.
