Today we drove to the north of the island to the town of Pollensa, where it was market day.
Always a busy market, with lots of memories for us.
I nearly lost my bag and Anita bought some...

There was a moment of panic there!
I know that feeling when you realise that you have left your bag and it may be lost or stolen. Luckily for you it was still there. I agree that the music didn’t seem appropriate for the situation. Again luckily for you, he only sang one rap. It’s good to remember lost friends.

Rap music is a massive part of the music genre Steve. You shouldn't be so dismissive of it. Not my cup of tea but each to their own.

I have tried, I just can't get on with it. It feels too angry for me. Gangsters Paradise is about as close as I can get.

Rap and Pollensa oh no. Such a beaufiful town.Wasn't the market mainly fruit and veg back in the day, it has grown like Topsy.

There is a big fruit and veg section, but it now extends through the town.
We love the market in Pollensa and enjoyed sitting in the same café overlooking the market and having a cafe con hielo.
To be honest I can never resist at the pastry stall, I love ensaimadas.
I am doing a good job avoiding the delicious pastries... at the moment!
Just down in Palma over for another week now looks like the heart has gone like they’ve cut the bolts and it has not returned at the moment
It was taken down for San Juan, but you are right the bolts have gone.

Brought back happy memories of when we first came to Mallorca over 30 years ago and stayed in the Puerto Pollensa for many years. I think I sang in the Church where the "books" are -at the Wedding of Bill Giverens daughter. How time flies!!
