Are you allowed to still cut sides in this challenge?
If ur hair was growing ur sides wouldnt be short
As a men who is almost reaching 4 years without haircuts I will give you an honest advice: Drop the scissors/razors/clippers today, and let your sides grow as well. If you have a specific hair length goal you are only delaying it. A longhair at heart will embrace the journey and accept a true awkward stage.
@Ονομάτιος Επιθετίδης the ends will always sustain some damage, but my split ends are really minimal because I don't heat style it and try to be as healthy as I can. It is around 23 inches now.

What’s the best shampoo, conditioner, and hair products to use?
Gabe Selden sulfate and paraben free shampoo. Hair products depend on your hairtype.

depends entirely on your hair type and style, do some research to figure out what hair type you have then find the best products for that
I just discovered you channel two days ago. I’ve wanted to grow my hair out for YEARS but haven’t because my hair has always been so difficult to style for me and now I’m sad I missed the 6 month hair growth challenge!
I think I’ll still try it but I got my hair cut literally two days ago. Short and boring, if you’re wondering...

fajr1984 Go and check Michael South channel, he will help you to get your long hair... But Bluuman won't give you good advices. The first of all is gettin your sides long and not trim them.

6 months for me is just beyond the lips. I find adding volume at awkward stages helps a lot. Either style it back messy, or leave it down with an off centre part. Granted your face needs to suit it

I want to keep growing out my hair (I have been since about April) but it’s veryyy thick and veryyy curly and at this point it’s just an Afro type look. I need support cause I want long hair but am super close to cutting it cause it looks so bad right now!

For curly hair is even mor difficult but stay strong men. Use caps and you can go for a LITTLE trim with thinning scissors. You should get healthy hair with oils and stop shapooing too much!

My hair styles with everything best when it's about 1/2 inch past my nose. Currently it goes about half the way down my nose, so I have at least an inch to go. I'm hoping to be there by the time I have to take Christmas time photos.

i cut my hair sep first, it was a #3 on the sides and 2 inches on the top. it’s now 1.5 inch on the sides, and 3.5 - 4 inches on top. still growing it

I've been doing this thing since April 2018..7months I have silky straight hair
....... fringe area reaches 7 inches (hair can touch lips)and sides are kinda 4andhalf inches backhead hair reaches till my ear lobe (curl waves) and guess what ...it feels good

Yeah, but it's a pointless challenge. It's so easy to complete if you cut the sides. The REAL point is to grow out long hair.
I am pretty much into that awkward phase, kind of up but a tiny bit side swept because it’s too high to just style straight up. Well I have a huge event that I’ll have to attend to this week unexpectedly, should I just cut about half an inch? Pictures are forever and I don’t want look back decades from now and see me at an awkward stage.
