This is the kind of video I love to watch. It's not about what you are telling correctly or what Tanay is telling correctly. It's about understanding the pros and cons. I like that statement when you say "the pros outweigh the cons". I'll use it in my conversations.
It should be reversed, cons are too much against pros. decentralized system has no future, it's like a country without a government. You should think about it more thoroughly without agreeing so easily with someone.
I am Studying AI for 2 years now, he did the same thing with AI too. It demotivated me a bit, but then if someone tells you to leave everything and just do Frontend, then I don't think we need to worry about him.
Yes I was also got demotivated after investigating so much time and doing it for passion... Now I don't think I need to worry... Because finally he compared ai with html css... like only few classifier he build and became an ai engineeer 😂

Hi harkirat, There are already plenty of youtube tutorials and udemy courses out there that do a decent job of getting started with web3 as a developer. You being a industry insider, I would really appreciate if you instead did a video series on some interesting ways this tech is being actually adopted and what are the challenges/opportunities available that developers can capitalise on instead of just learning the tech and getting salaried for it. Sort of like code report that fireship does but about the current use cases of emerging tech, not the tech itself. This would probably appeal to a larger audience base than technical tutorials, given the rise of channels like thinkschool and aevy Tv. Really liked the start and end of today's video. hope you continue this format.
100% agreed with this comment. This is the kind of content that would actually "utilise" his insights and potential as the surface-level intro stuff is spammed all throughout the web.

I respect your opinion and its absolutely a fantastic idea for new engineers/fresh graduates to dig deep into how a decentralized system works and how can you maintain these contractually bound operations using code. However, please note that we need to also educate those willing to battle this innovator's dilemma that there is a caveat to all of this. The idea of a decentralized economy running on cryptographic tokens and stable/blue chip tokens being prominent in all walks of life is still a distant reality. Its maybe somewhere between evidential projection and speculation. My advise would be don't go running into embracing web3 as your only way forward. Stay curious and follow the evolution of the system. If it persists to become a norm, you would be equipped , employable and making big bucks however if it doesn't, you don't have a lot to lose apart from a portion of learning time.
A great way of telling the difference. Loved it I am in the first phase of Blockchain, learning why the blockchain came into existence. I want you to make a channel dedicated to blockchain basics to advance. That will be really helpful. Thanks
I am an aspiring web3 developer, but even the internships in web3 ask for industry experience so first i will have to work in web2, gain exp then transition
Please make a course on web3. You explain things in a very calm yet engaging manner, honestly it's super interesting to listen to you. Thank you for making these RUclips videos.
Really cool video. Looking forward to more stuff from this channel. Please make sure that you increase the levels of the vocal track, and reduce the levels of the bell icon notification at 17:42 (blew my fucking ears out)
Excellent video and very polite way of explaining things which is scare these days from talented developers. Really looking forward for your web3 courses on youtube.
The problem with web3 is credibility. No one is responsible for anything there. I don't think there are any pros there. All web3 apps talk about decentralisation, however, apps are hosted somewhere, AWS for eg. Also, you need to keep LOTS of machines running. The more number of people you get into your platform the more number of machines you need to keep running.

Agree with most of the video. But you can't compare watching and clicking ads with paying money in a subtle manner, you are the product in this case. When it boils down to 2 choices, membership or intrusive and skippable(/blockable) ads - people will choose ads as long as it's reasonable. They value money more than reasonable invasion of privacy. If we even look at countries or regions (rich), that value privacy and can afford the software, people not paying for them will outweigh people that do. Would love to know about web3 and your daily work!

16:35 Exactly, in the 1972 MIT published a paper, The limits to growth. The point is simple the current world debt wouldn't be offset by equivalent growth in assets even with improving technology. What will happen in that case Scenario 1> Governments keep borrowing to pay previous debt, resulting in a debt trap. In this case inflation will make most of the "now" cheapily available goods much more expensive and unaffordable i.e. currency devaluation vis-a-vis asset. Scenario 2> Government wake up to its senses and stop mindless printing thereby retaining the value of currency but causing econmic slump or stagnation. This will cause huge public outroar and it is very unlikely to happen. The best thing about Bitcoin is that the size of chain is defined, therefore only a limited stock is available making it the "gold" (Valuable limites assest) but in digital sense.
The thing is if someone is stealing the price secretly without knowing you then it's fine. But it's annoying when someone is asking for the price face to face.

Hi Harkirat. This was a really nice and informative video. I am curious to learn more about Web3. I have recently developed interest in it and am looking to explore. It will be really helpful if you post about Web3 more. As you said that you could start another channel to teach Web3. In my opinion, that would really drive beginners like me towards the field.
I agree with your viewpoint, currency as a concept has human component and human are prone to mistakes especially politician who mostly mismanage it and wealth loss to businessman and other people who earned it through their consistent good decision over a period of time
very nice video, very informative usually i don't pay any heed to these kind of roasting or you can say controversial videos, but concluding to this video I got a very nice overview of the web3 space and I believe that's what the purpose of this video and that's what matters
🤩BROOO!! I am excited about the next video. On that twitter post, Tanay is being judged on his credibility because of his video on AI. I wanted Tanay's unbiased discussion with Varun Mayya on AI, but maybe he sorta ignored it. Would LOVE to hear your opinion, so that Hum Naive students misguide naa hojaye..
It would be immensely appreciable if you post content more focused on Web3 or rather start a new channel focused on solely Web3. Loved your video, Harkirat ❤
bro iam a commerce graduate but i can understand your logic new technology will take time develop and no one knows future everyone should seek knowledge
Tanay's target audience is college going students who easily get into the hype. And for a college student web3 is definitely not a space to get a job as a fresher. Your opinions are also true that Tanay's video lacked research. His opinions in videos are mostly black and white. Which I don't like
I have no hate towards any random tech bhaiya didi, but you are the only Indian RUclipsr whose content makes sense, and never regret spending time here.
I was eagerly waiting for someone technically sound and sensible making a good counter reaction to that non-sense video. Any point made in that video hardly has any substance. Good job, buddy! Keep it up..
Hello Harikat! This is Parag. It was Nice hearing you and i am too convinced in the Flaws of Government Currencies. I previously from from Non tech Background..Learned some languages but ultimately got to work in Pro*C which is C which Oracle queries. I had worked i this for 4 years..After that i switched to C++ from last year and it is somehow hardware dependent and i am facing some issues grasping that as there are a lot of system dependencies here and no one's there to help..I want to learn something New and make a Smooth Transition. I am liking the idea of Web3. How can i make this Transition? Also i would add that i have turned 30 now and am sole bread earner of my Family. So i will require to have a Job and Money is a part of Initial Motivation to be True. Please help. TIA 😊 🙏
Did you get the answer Parag? I am having the same confusion right now. I have almost the same working executive, same age now, and have the same doubts. Please reply if you got the answer. Please help me
Tanay is very much a front-end guy. He wants everyone to buy hs courses, and thats why you can find him calling everything else as bad. The guy complains about "gas fees not being beginner friendly". If this could stop a technology from taking up, cloud would have been killed in the bud. You have to buy servers to try out cloud platforms. But then cloud providers came up with 1-year free trial for limited services. The same is already happening in some blockchains as well. Solana has devnet & testnet, which is pretty much the same. Same is true with the point about "senior programmers not getting into web3". I have around 10 years of experience, and getting into this domain (currently learning). But I have "seniors", who have never written code in any language except C & PHP. Did that stop Java, Golang, Erlang, or Rust from taking up. Tanay's videos used to be nice. But then he started his own company, and now it's fair to expect that whatever he says now, is with the agenda of benefiting his own business. Which is fair, as far as people remember this while listening to him. Also, remember that the guy is now running those "placement assurance" courses, where you pay so much money for the course, that even if they keep just the half of it, the remaining half covers the 6 months salary of most jobs that they ensure for you. Sorry to say this, but this isn't much different from age-old hire-and-fire job scams. Take 2 lacs from 50 X-es, give 1 lac to Y, and ask them to employ 40 X-es for some time. Y gives some salary, which is simply subsidized by X's own money. And then after few months, Y just keeps 5 X-es that they would anyways would have hired, and fire the rest.
Hi Harkirat. Great content! Can you please make a video on security aspects of Web 3.0 that developers should be aware while developing smart contracts? There are so many instances of hacking in the Web 3.0 world which have been reported - Wonderland, Terra Luna, Osmosis, Binance, Etherium Layer 2 solution - Optimism to name a few. Would like to know your perspective on this and how as a Web 3.0 developer you ensure that the code that you create is secure?
Actually 99% blockchain projects are scam I have worked part time with a crypto startups there I realised that whatever they are doing is of no use still I kept working for the money then later that crypto project had lost 90% of its peak price and all retail investors lost money then the founders also left the project .
Sir, I am a final year undergraduate from IIT BHU and want to learn and become a blockchain developer. There are very few resources available available on the web about this and choosing which one should I follow becomes a really tough job. Also not many people are into web3 so lack of support is also there. If you could make a blockchain development learning guide or so it would be soo much beneficial to us and the whole community. Thankyou
In today's world after a lot of hype if there is not a lot of people are in this then you should take this as something is really wrong with it. Contact me to if you wish to hear a proper logical response rather than from someone who worked for it and enthusiastic about it.
Sir, i have a question The idea of Web 3 is great, but the thing is Ethereum or any other service like Solana etc charges a certain amount of gas to do any kind of transactions. So, is blockchain only applicable to Finance field? Cause any normal day to day app cannot be built on blockchain, cause why would people pay gas prices for normal tasks? I might be wrong somewhere as i am just starting out in web 3
What's your opinion about enterprise blockchains like Hyperledger fabric? I think they are the future, cause it's not in the interest of the government to regulate and accept bitcoin or Ethereum. The RBI has launched its own digital currency, similar is the case in china. What's your take?
Html, css, js and react content is abundant bro, Web3 content would be better in my opinion, also , really healthy, civilised way of putting points backed with rationale, need more people like you in this space !

React:

The way you shared your points was so decent and informative.
i didnt knew ur were in the blockchain field...last year i had plans to enter into this field...but i didnt eventually...please make a good road map and bring as much as clarity possible ....thks bro good content
Hi Harkirat. This was a really nice and informative video. I am curious to learn more about Web3. I have recently developed interest in it and am looking to explore. It will be really helpful if you post about Web3 more. As you said that you could start another channel to teach Web3. In my opinion, that would really drive beginners like me towards the field.
the way you started the video ....... justtt Awesome🔥
I agree with your viewpoint, currency as a concept has human component and human are prone to mistakes especially politician who mostly mismanage it and wealth loss to businessman and other people who earned it through their consistent good decision over a period of time
Joker - Tanay wants everyone to buy his course
Bhai sab video intro aise hi banado. So effin cool.
Very nice and descriptive video! I was planning to learn web3 and this boosted my motivation :D
Great vid! Just in case if you can make couple of videos how a new person can get into web3 space in technical roles that would be great thanks again!
Please start teaching Web 3, I desperately wanna learn it.
Huge Like for the intro :D. Loved it
Great video! would love to consume more knowledge on web 3.0 from your channel.
very nice video, very informative usually i don't pay any heed to these kind of roasting or you can say controversial videos, but concluding to this video I got a very nice overview of the web3 space and I believe that's what the purpose of this video and that's what matters
Intro was amazing ❤❤
0:41 that reaction was epic😂
It would be immensely appreciable if you post content more focused on Web3 or rather start a new channel focused on solely Web3.
Loved your video, Harkirat ❤
bro iam a commerce graduate but i can understand your logic new technology will take time develop and no one knows future everyone should seek knowledge
hey great video as usual and yes I am 100% interested in you teaching blockchain.
Tanay's target audience is college going students who easily get into the hype.
And for a college student web3 is definitely not a space to get a job as a fresher.
Your opinions are also true that Tanay's video lacked research.
His opinions in videos are mostly black and white.
Which I don't like
We need web3 tutorials Harikat, I'd love to learn from you!
Please help me
Beware of using music directly(strike issues)
A lot of people are really enthusiastic about the web3 domain including me .
I would request you to make a dedicated course on web3...
8:40 kiya hum free me locally test bhi nhi kr skte? sirf learn krne ke liye bhi? I am a novice in web3 sorry if this doesn't make sense.
The intro is damm good ❤🔥
Hi Harkirat. Would like to know your perspective on this and how as a Web 3.0 developer you ensure that the code that you create is secure?
the intro was lit..
omg the ending! 😂😂 waiting for the video
Clear difference between IIT/NIT minds and others.
big reson why i dont like this tanay pratap and fellow indian influencers like this. harkirat and kunal kushwaha are great people
A detailed video explaining both pros and cons instead of one sided views.
Actually 99% blockchain projects are scam I have worked part time with a crypto startups there I realised that whatever they are doing is of no use still I kept working for the money then later that crypto project had lost 90% of its peak price and all retail investors lost money then the founders also left the project .
Yes please teach us web3... I really want to switch my career to web3... I am done giving padding and margins.
lol 😂
Yes yes, please start the web3 playlist!!
Thankyou
What's your linkdin profile id??
Bhai code eater pe ja mil jayega and take care aur bhai ho sake to instageam dena apna
In today's world after a lot of hype if there is not a lot of people are in this then you should take this as something is really wrong with it. Contact me to if you wish to hear a proper logical response rather than from someone who worked for it and enthusiastic about it.
@@devarpan can you please explain more?
Great intro, and thank you for the information.
Yes please do make videos on Web3, and also talking about what you do in Web3!!
Love the Intro Bhaiya
Sir, i have a question
The idea of Web 3 is great, but the thing is Ethereum or any other service like Solana etc charges a certain amount of gas to do any kind of transactions.
✌
On the topic of costing money to interact with apps..
For testing purpose there are testnets where anyone can test his app without any kind of cost.
