    I have never looked at whether my yellows are transparent or opaque! That makes sense why I have problems sometimes with colour mixing 💡 I look forward to trying this out, thanks for the great video 😊

      I’m new-ish. I wrap a bit of masking tape on the tubes of transparent colors so I can tell at a glance which are transparent. It helps me memorize which are which. For what it’s worth 🙂

    I always enjoy your videos. What a great tip to use transparent oxide yellow!

      Thank you. that will be the transparent yellow oxide that gives that effect. I'd also recommend transparent oxide red and also transparent oxide brown. I use Rembrandt paints in these colours 👍

      @@sarahhallidayart I have all three of them, also from Rembrandt. TRO I use a lot, but the brown and yellow never used 😅 I will give it a try, thanks!
