Maybe, he should continue making the videos in Nepali but provide English subtitle so that any foreigners can watch the video. I believe that our parents, who aren't fluent in English, should be able to enjoy The Nepali Comment's videos too. Foreigners have other channels like Vox. I know that Vox hasn't touched on this particular issue, but my desire is that such informative videos should be comprehensible to normal Nepalis too.

Sir Edmund Hilarry is more Nepali than Tenzin Norge. Sir Edmund Hillary might be born in New Zealand but he worked in Nepal, his contribution to this country is more than Gyanendra Shah, Sherbahadur Deuba, Girija, KP and MaKuNe combined. Whereas on the other hand Norge is an Indian even though His birth is In Nepal. We should focus on Karma than Janma.

Even to this day, Nepalis build path to Everest and only then foreigners get to climb.
Regarding the nationality issue, I always grew of believing that Tenzing was a Nepali citizen, as that is how information used to be disseminated in the school textbooks. But when I reached Darjeeling, I found so many monuments erected on his name. That put me in a state of confusion. Even during the visit to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, I found that Tenzing was so well revered in Darjeeling, which makes sense because he worked there and led the expedition to Everest from Darjeeling . This video has such a sad ending note. It's dreadful what fame does to people.
The video says at 16:15 that Tenzing Norgay and the team started the expedition from Kathmandu, and here you are claiming that he "led the expedition to Everest from Darjeeling". What am I missing?
Tenzing Norgay is actually Tibetan.

The name Chomolungma is given by the Khambu (Rai) & Limbu (Yakthung) people living in Khumbu; It's the oldest name used by the Chinese & Tibetic peoples.
bro the native of khumbu are sherpas and its the sherpa/tibetean name for the mountain.

@@walangchahangyelingden8252 As for how different they are, even though they look similar sherpa have been isolated in that region for far longer and retain alot of their original tibtean heritage, so if you look around khumbu you'd notice the culure from tibet that was preversed, the monasteries the scriptures and traidition, the way people dress. Its only recently that sherpas started going to the city and mingling with people there.
@@walangchahangyelingden8252 however if you look at rai/limbu culture they are more Hindu and share little similarity with tibtean buddhism, they are natives of the hills of the Nepal and they are much earilier migrants to nepal than sherpa , probably even before tibet had a sophisticated culture.
