People says that one piece was better before the timeskip... I tend to agree, fishman island and punk hazard wasn't that great compared (still good though) but maaan! I love the dressrosa arc! It's so full of surprises and for you who only watch the show - (don't worry no spoilers) it's gonna go down and i can't wait! :) The only thing i don't like about after timeskip is that i feel the animation is getting lazy... The anime style of OP.. i feel it was better before :P but maybe they'll fix that in some upcoming fights.

Some EVIIIIIIL plot that the straw hat crew needs to stop , an unbeatable enemy defeated with lots of will power and luck and little to no ability and lots of random peoples dramatic stories and crying .

Without DBZ , one piece wouldn't exist. Since DBZ was one of the anime that started the shounen genre. you shouldn't be comparing the two as they existed in completely different time periods and the shounen genre has evolved.

this was the moment, the episode where one piece went from the happy show it was, to the neer ending painful experience, with time and time again luffy being pushed past his limits suffering from physical but more importantly emotional pain. the loss of his crew, the fear of losing ace, the loss of bon-chan, the death of his brother right infront of his eyes....i never once cried to an anime, and yet through that saga my eyes burnt continously. i hope the one piece saga never ends!
no it is later in the series. the crew sepperates. up to date with the japanese comics, they still have not gotten back together. it hs just been luffy ever since. sounds bad, but it actually gets so good.

They got seperated, in which, they were all sent to different islands (complex) and then a war broke out, ace died, and then they spent two years apart, and are now back, and luffy has already pissed off one of the emporers

dbz in my opinion is the king of anime.. but with one piece i found i felt more of a connection with some characters and ended up enjoying the series far more and its far from over :D
