Your wife is hilarious with her emotional sound effects and facial expressions 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 she’s very happy doing this for you that’s for sure! Have fun and safe cruising!
Really enjoy your attention to detail on your videos! No one else breaks down included food on cruises like you do, you're in a league of your own! Thanks for all the great content!
These videos are so helpful for us in determining what we'll want to order on the menu when we take our first cruise this spring. I just want to thank you both so much!
Thank you so much for this insightful look into the MDR on Odyssey. We are going on it soon and I have a tendency to not try many new foods but after watching this, you've given me so many new ideas.....Very grateful!
Coming from an Asian country where those kind of food (ceviche, different kind of cheese, meringue, etc) simply don't exist, your food presentation video really helps me a lot as I'm planning on my cruise vacation departing Florida:-) Thanks a bunch!
Excellent video..your wife knows her food. I hate videos where ppl say "this is good" and leave it at that. I really like all the pictures and close ups. We are serious about our food..like most Asians lol.
I enjoy your videos. They're very food forward, and I like that. You both are pleasant and the reviews are done well without being overly critical. It makes me long to go on a cruise again. Maybe I'll run into you all. Again, great job. P.S. The green earrings are showstoppers.
Currently on diet and excercise routine so I can eat my money worth when I get on the cruise. I watch this video whenever my body is eating my body reserves away and scream for food so I know what I am fighting for. thanks for the footage.
Hi Joann and David, I'm on jury duty now and it's lunch break. I'd trade places in a heartbeat as I am starving instead of going upstairs for vending machines. 97 more days until our Celebrity Summit 10 night cruise to Bermuda and counting until we can dine on fine cuisine as you did. Hi from Bob and Jill in Connecticut
Hi Bob & Jill! Thanks for taking time to watch & comment! And of course for partaking in jury duty! You're going to have some nice food on the Summit 😋
This was hard to watch!!!!!! With no food in my mouth. Love the way she tastes and then gives the oooo ahhh mmmmm reactions....very tasty looking. I'd say a 9 out of 10 approval for RCCL kitchens.
I enjoy their commentary but it is so often RCL and we are unlikely to cruise on that line. But I will watch anyway so i can fantasize til our next cruise.
So I'm going on my first cruise in May. Are you able to just sample everything you want in the main dining room every night? It seems like they are pretty small portions.
Nicely done. I'm going on Odyssey's April transat and have the unlimited dining package. I'm not sure how often I'll eat in the MDR (lobster night!). I'm interested to try the snails, although theyt look as if the cheese coating is overdone compared to others I've had. That can't be said against the French onion soup.
Thank you! Yeah lobster night was nice. I'm sure you'll make great use of the dining package since they have so many specialty dining options on the ship. Have a great cruise!
Thank you! I think if you're looking for lots of amazing entertainment, bells & whistles, the Royal Oasis-class ships are pretty hard to beat. If you value the included food more, HAL is somewhat better at the buffet & main dining room. HAL has also stepped up their live entertainment also.
We do not like Bells and whistles i thank we Will go for HAL from Amsterdam living in Belgium Will be a good option and we Will go for the neptune suite kind regards wilky
I see she has different dishes at sit down dinner. Can you order different entrees as much as you want in one dinner? Are they included in the cruise or extra? Thank you.
The menu offerings here look far more colorful, creative and adventurous than what we’re seeing in the new menus RCL has rolled out. With included food like this, there is no need to do specialty dining if one doesn’t want to spend the extra money. But then, more and more it seems like cruise lines are pushing us toward specialty dining in order to get the real cruise food experience.
The food looks very good but it appears they are very careful with the sauces and gravy. I would require alot more sauce with the pastas and anything with rice.
He was doing a magic trick which was pretty cool! Yeah I didn't notice the green "sticker" until the video was uploaded- it's a bug from the video editor. I used Power Director and for that clip I had it apply NVIDIA denoise, but instead it introduced a big green block lol

Got prime rib on her review...grizzly and tough. Never again. I pulled all the breading off the seafood also. Lasagna was very very heavy with doughy noodles. Not the best. We thought food was very average. Feb 2023.
Wondering if she leaves lots of food on the multiple plates she tries at each meal. No way she can be eating more than a few bites from each plate. Unless others in the party are finishing it, seems as if lots of food would be wasted. 🤷♀️
I like your relaxed style and you do an admirable job. As improvements, it would nice if you added twenty or so descriptive terms to your repertoire: succulent, plump, umami, tangy, scented, preparation, etc. (there are of course hundreds available to you). Your viewers would also appreciate you possessing / showing a little more food knowledge. Shoot an image of the menu when it’s posted during the day. Select an item or two of the more unusual menu offerings and learn a little something about them, their origin or or an ingredient the item should possess then share that with the viewer while dining. For example, it would have shown some mastery if you’d told the viewer what type noodle should be in a Stroganoff. In the example of the fried fish entree, you weren’t prepared to tell us what type of fish it was. You might have said “I asked our wonderful waiter what is the fish in this mixed platter and he told me it was cod.” I would also advise you to not proclaim a dish to be healthy. You might say a dish is possibly or seemingly a healthier version of one you’ve had or think people generally experience. Regardless, many thanks for your nearly hour-long presentation. Viewing the items and getting your impressions is very helpful in advance of sailing. It surely helps determine what nights one might choose to pay for a specialty dining experience instead of MDR (Main Dining Room).
Wow- thank you for the thorough feedback! We're not pros, and for us it's a lot about enjoying a vacation without the extra work of doing these videos cutting into the enjoyment. But your suggestions are quite helpful and we'll see if we can incorporate a few of your tips! 🙏

No free ride for us- we wish lol. We're not affiliated with any cruise line- just regular tourists.
