I've been doing 'mix in the can' method which can become a bit tedious. I've been thinking about making larger batches {I garden in six 4'x 12' x 12" raised wood beds}. Instead of the tub I will probably fill my large plastic storage bin because that is what I have. I'll to see how many gallons it takes, and then mark it with the marker like you did and Thanks for the reminder about a more efficient method and the marker idea!! I like your channel!
You should try some Sustane Hi-N 12-0-1 or 8-2-4 Flourish Water-Dispersible Powders. Both OMRI certified and perform extremely well - without the odor!
Great idea Joe I will have to do this.. Question: I generally use the Alaska fish fertilizer (5-1-1) that you use in the video in May and early June when I want more nitrogen to get the foliage going. At this time of year everything is well established so I use Neptunes's Harvest seaweed and fish (2-3-1) which has a more balanced blend to fulfill all aspects of the plants needs and to not concentrate on nitrogen. What do you think have I been overthinking this? Especially when one considers the cost difference between the two fertilizers.
Hi, I live in Puerto Rico and have planted eggplant, Italian peppers, celery, a banana tree and a plantain tree all in pot since by back yard is all cement (unfortunately). Can I use this liquid fish fertilizer for all these plants?
My neighbor and I have been visited by raccoons, (hers more than mine) do you know if using fish emulsion fertilizer would draw them over to my garden!

Wow!! 😮😊
Haha, Good one, David! thanks for the laugh.
@@joegardenerTVNow can you see why in H.S. I was called the Class Clown? So, like Ralph on Happy Days would say, "I've still got it!!" 😂
This was one of those "Why didn't I think of that!" moments.
I got the fish juice on my bare hands the first time. BIG MISTAKE!!! Took a day of washing with vinegar to get it out.
Lemon juice and salt mix is probably better

Hi where you get the white net behide you Thanks you.
Do you ever use the 0-10-10 fish emulsion? Great informative video! Thanks!

Do fruiting plants like tomatoes, cucs squashes, peppers etc need more than fish emulsion? Won’t that just feed leaf growth?
Thanks
Does the smell of the fish food get embedded in the plastic? I have a designated steel 1 gal can that I use for it and the mixing does get tedious
How often do you use the FF?
