BEWARE! The developers' last game was called Tree of Life. They released it in an early access state and barely touched/updated the game. Game was laggy, had weird ping issues and all sorts of griefing/exploiting. Calls and suggestions of the community got ignored. They then deleted any traces of their "failed project" explaining they were "unexperienced" (after 4 years of game service) and moved on to this "sequel". Just dropping that small backstory here because I'm afraid the same will happen with this one although I'm always hopeful and WANT to be surprised by their new gained knowledge.
While true day one lauch of that game was still one of my best game memories the sense of community was insane as we were all learning the game and helping each other
I'd pronounce it as ODD REE A. As part of my speech therapy many, many, many years ago, I was taught to break an unfamiliar word down into bits that are familiar...helps with spelling too, IF people pronounced words correctly. Oddria -> odd-ria -> odd-ree-a. (shrug) works most of the time.
When I played the first demo of this, I discovered that you can jump off a cliff onto the tops of the palm trees! At night time I would hide up there out of harm's way... Good thing you can hunt with a stone ax! It's much easier than hunting with a stoner! For eating, charred starfish is better than chocolate starfish!
Right now, the Steam page for this game does not YET appear to allow downloads. You can, though, submit a request to developers to join the playtest. It then says you'll get an email, if they decide that they need more playtesters...
Would love to see more always a joy to watch you play games your enthusiasm is awesome to see and it doesn't matter what game it's you play you just can tell how much you like playing and my favorite ones are with Mrs z in them so maybe you 2 can play this together.
sadly windows only i wish when you say to check out the game if you said what systems you can play it on so i dont waste time looking when i cant play it because its only on one system or not my system at all

Played the prequel, still gonna give it a chance, because I liked tree of life when it first came out, after the weird updates it was so boring
