I must be responsible for half of those 2,400 views. I listen to this on a loop. Not only is the cover job perfect, it even sounds more "polished" than the original. Chico's vocals, for instance, are cleaner than Liam Gallagher's. The mastering is smoother as well. The overall attitude of "let's honor the original by doing our best" created a whole new kind of perfection, much like what modern pianists achieve when they interpret 19th century compositors. They do their best to put themselves behind, and to bring the music forward. This can never be done by the original creator. The Oasis band members are associated to their music, they just need to be themselves. We here the music plus Liam. You, as an interpreter, can never become them, so in a way you need to disappear, so we hear only the music. And you nail it, man, you absolutely nail it.
Thank you so much mate, really appreciate 🤩 Think this version did dig out some heavier nuances of the song which for me does work somewhat nicer than the original Oasis version..
@@SpacemartiniWell I listened to both your cover and the album version, and I find the arrangements pretty similar. The album version is more psychedelic, with more layers (many voices for the chorus, sound effects, etc.), your version is a bit rougher, with more guitars. But all in all, the interpretation is so close to the original that the main thing I hear is: someone loved this music so much to recreate it entirely. I don't hear the nuances as much as the love put into it. But that's just me :-)
Utterly great. Love it. One of my favorite songs, and you captured all the emotion. Also like the different guitar efforts to capture the right tone. SG-types and Strat-types and Les Paul-types don't sound the same, but you made them sound great in combination. There is magic to arrangement!
love the fact you kept it the same and still made it sound like yours, top job!
Sensacional a flauta no final 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

awesome job dude especially the mixing is excellent, sounds super big but you can still hear each guitar layer separately.

Biblical
Are there some capos at G and one at G#?
Yeah, I did have my guitars in different tunings during making this video. Did not think anyone would notice 😅
Orrendo lui i chitarristi e la band così così ...ma lui a dir poco osceno 😮
