Dont know about anybody else but I always enjoy watching the Revelstoke BC cam. Between the antics of the bears, the trains, and great scenery, it's one of the best cams you have!
Once in a while I do work in downtown Calgary, sometimes I get to see Revelstoke trains passing through on the line behind a building I do service work at. The train at 11:45-12:50 came through Calgary this morning.
Nice G/B, thank you all at VRF. BNSF seem to be trying to upstage WAMX on the smokescreen front. Boy, do I like Southern green livery. Another great catch was the white Jeep at Hesperia. Luckily the young man on the Electric Skateboard did not appear injured, but it seemed like A.I. and the Camera were in cahoots. However, at least he waited for the Train to move and did not do a 'Darwin'.
15:43 CSX 1714? It's an SD40-? Original roster as EX SBD GP9/GP16... This unit has six axles. Any help appreciated. John p.s. 20:40 Brand-New BNSF 3663, 3662, Built July 2023 at The Wabtec Fort Worth Locomotive Plant Texas, ET44AC
The odd-looking CSX unit is an SD23T4 (GE class ET23DCM) rebuild by Relco/Wabtec in Iowa. Some are being rebuilt by CSX at Huntington, WV. They have more than a dozen on the roster. Those old SBD Geeps have been retired for decades.
A lifetime ago, I watched a pair of FA2s, a pair of RS3s, and a GP9 help a B&O train up Williamsport hill on the Western Maryland. Only the Geep was smoking. Pouring rain, but one of my best days ever.
Boy, BNSF 5251 is not having one of its better days right there! Also, great catch of the new ET44ACHs at 20:18 too! There's currently 4 that have been testing on unit coal trains here on the Thayer Subdivision the past couple of weeks!
Wow I just found out I made the Grab Bag. At 16:36 that’s me and my Jeep CJ-7. I went to Cajon Pass to hill 582 and I thought I would buzz the Camera so my brother could see me. Thank you that made my day. I hope everyone has a great day as well.
Remember when they complained about smokey Alcos?? Seems both EMD and GE,are well within striking distance of making up for all the defamation that Alco endured! Karma,is a nasty two way street! Thank you 😇 😊!
0:31 8016 rocking that Ekyrail E-Bell! And then at 18:49, BNSF 5893 there is also known to possess an Ekybell too. Funny enough, on that same lashup, you can see 7893, exactly 2000 numbers above it.

That's the Rocky Mountaineer. It's a Canadian owned passenger railroad that has a line that runs from Denver to Moab with a stopover in Glenwood Springs where there's a ski resort and hot springs.
Some of them are logistics, i.e, more power used to go west than east (or vice-versa)... many of them are moving older Dash9s... like this one, presumably for disposition.
The smokey engine looks like it needs injectors cleaned or there is something wrong with the turbo. Memory and knowledge is a little weak here and my Brother who is the expert is on the other side of the nation so I might not have this correct.
It could be any of those issues. Either way, that thing needs to visit the shop soon, to bad they think maintaining their fleet cuts to much into their profits, because stuff like this is getting way to common!
I don't think so. Since their season began, and the trains started to roll through Revi, I've noticed them being really long, and practically empty of people. You can really notice how empty when they roll though later in evenings and the lights are on inside and you can see that easier.
7:39 How about that, a diesel engine "identifying" as a coal powered steam engine. It should get its own letter in the alphabet soup of LGBTQ whatever. LOL
7:25. Someone identifies as an ALCO! Marvellous!!!

25:51 Special thank you to Nathan for cleaning the cameras at Chehalis. Great job 👍👍.
0:50 They certainly did a good job on the paint, that is a great looking train.
Its super expensive too
Beautifull Rocky Mountainer train !!!!

Same train at 20:49 in Wichita. 14 hours from there to La Plata.

Guy at Revel: “phew, no one around saw me”
Railfans: just several hundreds of us so far watching this camera…… LOL
I'll give him credit that he didn't climb over the train while it was stopped.
I have to hand it to him too. He could've easily climbed the train but did. Good job.
Lots of people saw him fall on his caboose. ;)
6:15 That storm at La Plata was incredible, at 1am the sky on west cam was constantly lit like a shorting power cable
Wow
12:00 REVELSTOKE…..do you now need an award for people who actually WAIT for a stopped train at a crossing??? 🏆
It's nice to see there are so many young railfans
foarte 👌 bine se vede HD💻😃
Hat's off to the Rev Dude for waiting for the train 🚆 and not being a DARWIN Butthead😮😮😅,
Humanity still has some some smart people 👏.
Those long lite engine moves would be a real pain in the.....rear. Especially when it comes to completing the brake test.
24:12 the longest BNSF power move that I have ever seen
Amazing grabs
6:50 Too bad that switcher had to pass through Fort Madison at night.
Where are all those engines going? Storage?
What second engine? at 8:00. BNSF should think about buying better coal....er....wait..... 8^)
Incredible weather event.
The 28-engine move looks to be a hospital or storage train. Most units had their stacks capped...
I wonder who is ordering/using 86 foot hi cube boxcars woth dpuble plugdoors?
They're used for kitchen appliances and the like.
16:16 Help Please! What is "The Autorack Sidewinder"
It looks like a snake with its "S" position.
Dash 9 wanting to be an ALCO
BNSF GE blasting out diesel exhaust/rolling coal like a steam engine!😂🛤🚂👍
What was that passenger train that was not Amtrak ? The real long one
If you're talking about the one at 10:53, that's Norfolk Southern's Office Car Special.
That's the Rocky Mountaineer. It's a Canadian owned passenger railroad that has a line that runs from Denver to Moab with a stopover in Glenwood Springs where there's a ski resort and hot springs.
The Rocky Mountaineer is a beautiful train. Wonder where all those engines were going to?
@@georgettedebuhr2660 I would guess Chicago, considering how much freight moves out of it.
Those folks waving at Revelstoke mad it for me 👋
That train was rolling coal
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🍀💯🇳🇱
Anyone know where the Nebraska rail camera has gone . Has he finished or is there an issue with it
Why does BNSF do such enormous power moves? None of the others are like this.
Some of them are logistics, i.e, more power used to go west than east (or vice-versa)... many of them are moving older Dash9s... like this one, presumably for disposition.
Home shop for repairs?
The smokey engine looks like it needs injectors cleaned or there is something wrong with the turbo. Memory and knowledge is a little weak here and my Brother who is the expert is on the other side of the nation so I might not have this correct.
It could be any of those issues. Either way, that thing needs to visit the shop soon, to bad they think maintaining their fleet cuts to much into their profits, because stuff like this is getting way to common!
Question....why do some engines look spotless and others look like they are digusting. Is there a engine car wash some place?
12:00😂🛹
Was that an unusually long Rocky Mountaineer?
I don't think so. Since their season began, and the trains started to roll through Revi, I've noticed them being really long, and practically empty of people. You can really notice how empty when they roll though later in evenings and the lights are on inside and you can see that easier.
@@JasonR007Thanks. Why wouldn't they drop some cars then, if they have so few passengers? Seems like a waste of energy...
@@TinkerTailor4303 I think so too that it's kind of a waste. No clue why they do that.
I don't mind watching ads, and giving a thumbs up, but RUclips wants money now to watch at "better bit rate"... really... anyway, thanks for Grab Bag!
What was that guy doing at 9:50?
Unlocking, throwing the switch, and relocking it.
Kid on skateboard: how embarrassing! But how did it roll back to him -- is it motorized?? (I see now from other comments that it is motorized.)
Nobody talking about 12:00
Bro you forgot the cp biofuel units
7:39 How about that, a diesel engine "identifying" as a coal powered steam engine. It should get its own letter in the alphabet soup of LGBTQ whatever. LOL

One of the guys at Revelstoke is giving the I'm wacking my carrot gesture, just an awful sick creep.
I can not stand wind mill blades nor Auto Rac Trains. The 2 I despise the most.
