Let me tell you this: They do try to listen to their fans. I remember being really disappointes of not being able to take photos with our cats, that i suggested it weekly, and they eventually added it. And they also gave us way to earn items from the Lucky Point Chest and a mermaid amongst other things, so they do listen.
As much as I love time princess, I agree completely. It hasn't been fun to play anymore especially as a f2p player. I'm so glad you're still going to make Life Makeover videos though! I will continue to love and support your channel always 💖💖💖

As a long-time player myself, I sometimes have the urge just to just quit as well. I really admire your determination to step away from all the hours you put into this game, because that would have not been easy! Secondly, watching this video brings back so many memories as an older player. From the old events to your screenshots of the old UI, phew it really reminded me of the good days! The way you lay out the whole timeline is just perfect and well researched. You brought the facts and it is undeniable! TP is simply just becoming greedier and greedier, and it’s honestly off-putting, but most importantly, it’s sad. They found a perfect formula for a dress up game and built a strong fan base, but then turned around and took advantage of us… Thirdly, we can go through whole lists of the problematic things that TP has done in regards to their monetisation tactics, but it’s honestly a whole level of disgusting to use AI and make us pay for it! There was a whole letter that IGG, the developers of TP wrote stating openly about how they are trying to integrate more AI to improve their quality. What?! Make it make sense! Just pay your artists and writers with all the money you keep making, TP! Negativity aside, I just want to say that I found your channel through TP and searching for English TP content, and I have enjoyed it since! Your unfiltered and unbiased reviews and opinions are what we desperately need. Your TP videos have brought so much joy on days when I was sad and so much laughter on days when I was stressed. I used to play it and i was bored honestly..the amount of tiny accessories that can be barely seen and the possibility is so low yet expensive. On the other hand i love how life makeover influenced SN with the DIY color also. And i love how you can directly communicate with LM and they do listen. I really enjoy your videos and i hope you will make more videos of LM and suitU ❤

I agree with you so much! I quit playing TP a couple of weeks ago and I feel so much better. Like this game used to genuinely stress me out because of how fast the events are and how much I gotta spend to obtain at least one good item. Even the biggest whales in the game had enough of how unfairly TP treats their playerbase. I mean, I get it, people need profit, but making every players empty their wallets and invest in the game full-time is just frustrating. Not to mention the Ai generated backgrounds and portraits, and stories! I can't play much of the stories now because of how awful and uninteresting the writing is. I tried reaching out to TP about these issues and said they will do something, but it doesn't happen, not even an update to know what's going. Sorry for the rant, I really had to get it off my chest. But I am definitely staying for more content from you, you're doing great hamster!😊
So sad, but i totally understand and support your decision. 😔 I on the other hand will never quit playing this game, since i get enough pocket money from my parents, but i do agree this game is becoming too expensive for the average player. 🙁 Also, i'm surprised you didn't mention Double Balloon, since that also costs at least over 40k diamonds. 💎 With the other event, you can at least choose yourself which items you want and i love the beautiful wings from the last event. 💖 But seeong you quit Time Princess is to me personally, as sad as when Ash Ketchum left the Pokémon anime. 😢
I’m a longtime player and it really sad seeing where there game is now. It used to be such a big source of joy for me when the game was smaller, but it’s just so obvious how money grubbing they are now. The ai stuff really got under my skin, and I hope they improve but I honestly don’t see them caring anytime soon. Sad to see it go down the toilet like this.
I just redownloaded the game for the third time. I think what’s keeping me interested is that I took very long to rest if the game starts to become boring and I never participated in any of the paying events. It’s been 8 months since I last played the game so I’m coming back to enjoy the four new stories. Maybe all u need is a good rest :)
I never got into time princess so I’m learning about most of this for the first time. Hearing that they are using AI and charging people so much for it is shocking, I would quit for that reason alone not mention all the other things you listed You should play and make content on whatever makes you happy, and I’m glad you took this step! 💕

I do agree with everything you said, companies do need money to grow, but they also need players, and when they simply don't care for players, this is the end result, which is why i have quit TP for a while now. Good things end so that better things can take place! Hopefully we can start seeing more Life makeover videos from you, from home creation and decor, to different styles/outfits, to making chars and outfits based on other characters outside the game, and now with pets and open world coming, I'm sure you'll have a lot to cover if u wish to. I just started to play a few months ago (I left before for some time) and the game has changed so much. Like I do still enjoy the game a bit, but it used to be better over all and they weren't as focused on players that payed for stuff as they are now. Like all mobile games do have an option to pay for stuff and that is ok, but it's so different from tp. Like many other games give enough care to people that play for free and that makes those games worth playing. Tp seems to only be giving care to people that pay for things. I wish that the events they give out would last longer and there would be less of them and the focus would be more on releasing official books. Old stories also seem kinda better than the new ones and seem more thought out than the new ones. And well I wish they would release a veriaty of story difficulites. Like sure more expensive blue prints suit longtherm players, but does every new story really have to have them. Like the game has become less and less playable for new players and that is a bad thing. The game should be enjoyable for all players, the longtherm ones and new ones. The game has become extremely grindy with all the events, and other things. I like the concept of the game very much, like u read stories and have new outfits. It's such a good idea that I was looking for other games like this one, but the other things that I mentioned in this comment make tp way less enjoyable as it should be. And yes vip xp shouldn't be a quest in society, society quests should be so anyone can do it, if they pay for stuff or not. Like doing society quests shouldn't be an exclusive thing. And even if you can use the skip button it's odd as a quest over all. I guess they only want players that can pay for stuff, but can they really keep them interested in things if they keep going in this direction, that is the real question here.

When I started time princess I noticed how it lags a lot more than LM, which was annoying for me. And the AI... it's so obvious it hurts! I agree with everything that you’ve said, and as a person who downloaded it because of ads… I regret it. After leaving the game for two/ three years I was shocked. It’s almost as if it was a new game, and I noticed to lots of the oldies have left or quit. And I don’t blame them at all one bit, you have to pay for everything now. And the story’s whewww, so cringe. I’m still surprised that the games rated 12+ in the App Store, and trust me it’s not for younger kids at all. 💀 Worse thing was the chatting, there’s literally psychos on there aswell lol. It’s a haven for cyber bulking ( since I’ve experienced it myself. I’ve now lost my taste for it, it’s boring and dull, so I deleted it and quit

I really loved time princess at first because of the visual novel part of it, however stopped playing in 2022 due to my frustration with the stories. Instead of finishing or continuing many existing non-complete stories, they kept pushing out new ones, also only first few chapters of course. I loved dresses too ofc but stories were the main appeal and then main disappointment 😞
Time Princess always rubbed me the wrong way for a number of reasons, so I'm glad I dodged a bullet in not getting invested. 😅 The clothing is beautiful, but every other aspect of it does not make it worth it.
I suggest shinning Nikki it is a 3D fashion game with a lore that is actually deep and entertaining! They have survey and users question are once an while, asking your Preferences, likings, ratings for the new activity and more ! They give many benefit free outfits and more! I am a 5 year veteran player , I witnessed their progress and Their 3D models become really crazy good ! The time limited events and story are very cool too!
I played nikki for a while, also have a ton of videos on it as well! I just dont think the anime style eyes are for me but them doing surveys is amazing! Listening to your core users, ftp AND payed is key for succes imo
AI, f2p going completely down the drain, old stories never updating, new stories having ludicrous crafting requirements... I dropped Time Princess about two months ago because of all this. It just wasn't worth it anymore. I've never spent a penny on games and I'm not about to start now. TP can fall into the gutter the way other games do when they get too big and greedy for their own good.
I've been hiatus on this game since 3 months ago, I plan to coming back once I'm done with my school's final paper, but I think this is pretty spot on. The repetitiveness of the event and how each event always require you real money to get good stuff is getting pretty boring and exhausting. They've become greedier and greedier.

I rember when they had the login outfits, I think there were balloon gachas, and especially the energy boost events. I think those were some of the easier ones. I do appreciate that with the coming of LM and more 3D dress up games, TP upgraded their customizations, it brought something a little more fresh to the table. I'm also concerned with the AI. As an artist myself, it's been very concerning. I've always been paranoid about posting art, afraid someone would try to steal it, now with AI, it's the most discouraging it's ever been. One of my favorite things about TP is it's pretty 2d art that you collect in it's stories and the secondary character sprite art. Recently with the new kitty minigame, I looked at the orange kitchen cat and remember telling my friend (was on vc) "Is that AI?" The legs looked off... I personally tend to be a picky reader in general, so up to this point I had only heard the rumors or speculations about stories being AI translated, now I've started to see what people might be talking about in terms of AI first hand. Idk how to feel about AI translations but seeing that it may be leaking to writing stories and art is so disheartening. 💀 With all that being said, I'm glad you were part of my/our TP journey! Your commentary, content, and everything really was always so fun to hear and watch. for me I decided to quit LN 2 months ago.. I love a cartoonist (especially if its 2D art) fashion games... but as a new player to LN I feels just like a beggar.... begging association to accept me... always losing at fashion battle, not enough gold money... and whatever Hell Event other ppl said I can't even imagine it... like I know those ppl said to be patient, but how you feel excited about play a game if u always lose? whatever other ppl said, for me, LN is sucks, its not f2p friendly at all... the features is old too like when u hunt materials, other games already have the feature if u click 10x but u already have completed the materials it stopped... but in LN isn't & u wasted a lot stamina... I top up till VIP4 for this features & I feel like I've been cheated (if u play LN I bet u understand what I mean) Now I play only Hello Kitty World II & Welcome to my Home (coz I ❤ cute & girly games) those fashion games always cruel to f2p player...
Honestly, time princess is so much fun if everyone prioritized playing it for the fun! Developers seem to only care about players that pay, and players are also persuaded by the bandwagon of getting rich.. or at least for my experience as a new player. I vow not to target such expensive events anymore and just play for the stories, and get fortune to my own pace! I'm really enjoying "perfect storm" and collecting!
How unfortunate I just barely started playing this game not that long ago due to a free cash offer and I didn't realize how much of a really unique game this is I don't really care about the dressing up part but I do like the whole aspect of jumping into these stories and making so many different branching decisions although the consequences don't feel like they're that bad at all because you can literally just restart where you last left off so it begs the question on where's the challenge really it's unfortunate that the company decided to be this way and to not continue to make better stories I can only hope that eventually in the future maybe it'll get better or a predecessor will be released but I think this is a good concept and I've had a lot of fun playing it but I appreciate the video
That is literally why I dropped Shining Nikki. It isnt so bad, but there were too much events one after another and no chance to to dailies without waisting 3 hours a day. At some point you really start questioning why to bother. And all the sets are too samy for my taste. Same shaped big dresses which are hard to match with anything else. Anyway I hope other games would take notice

I like the concept of the game very much, like u read stories and have new outfits. It's such a good idea that I was looking for other games like this one, but the other things that I mentioned in this comment make tp way less enjoyable as it should be.
And yes vip xp shouldn't be a quest in society, society quests should be so anyone can do it, if they pay for stuff or not. Like doing society quests shouldn't be an exclusive thing. And even if you can use the skip button it's odd as a quest over all.
I guess they only want players that can pay for stuff, but can they really keep them interested in things if they keep going in this direction, that is the real question here.

I started playing Time Princess maybe two weeks ago so I'm sad to see you go. However, I completely understand why! I played Life makeover a lot before this game and fell in love with it. When I started time princess I noticed how it lags a lot more than LM, which was annoying for me. And the AI... it's so obvious it hurts! I mainly play TP because of the clothes and stories but for me, it isn't as good as LM. Btw, thank you for your guide videos!

I agree with everything that you’ve said, and as a person who downloaded it because of ads… I regret it. After leaving the game for two/ three years I was shocked. It’s almost as if it was a new game, and I noticed to lots of the oldies have left or quit. And I don’t blame them at all one bit, you have to pay for everything now.
And the story’s whewww, so cringe. I’m still surprised that the games rated 12+ in the App Store, and trust me it’s not for younger kids at all. 💀
Worse thing was the chatting, there’s literally psychos on there aswell lol. It’s a haven for cyber bulking ( since I’ve experienced it myself. I’ve now lost my taste for it, it’s boring and dull, so I deleted it and quit
I also used to be addicted to tp but it became so draining i was so sick of it!?! I only log in to help my soceity so they dont kick me out i rlly wanna quit but i am so invested its a waste its so expensive cant afford anything? Never get the peices that i want anyway? So even tho i still play i dont have passion for the game anymore tbh.

I really loved time princess at first because of the visual novel part of it, however stopped playing in 2022 due to my frustration with the stories. Instead of finishing or continuing many existing non-complete stories, they kept pushing out new ones, also only first few chapters of course. I loved dresses too ofc but stories were the main appeal and then main disappointment 😞
Time Princess always rubbed me the wrong way for a number of reasons, so I'm glad I dodged a bullet in not getting invested. 😅 The clothing is beautiful, but every other aspect of it does not make it worth it.

I played nikki for a while, also have a ton of videos on it as well! I just dont think the anime style eyes are for me but them doing surveys is amazing! Listening to your core users, ftp AND payed is key for succes imo
AI, f2p going completely down the drain, old stories never updating, new stories having ludicrous crafting requirements... I dropped Time Princess about two months ago because of all this. It just wasn't worth it anymore. I've never spent a penny on games and I'm not about to start now. TP can fall into the gutter the way other games do when they get too big and greedy for their own good.
I've been hiatus on this game since 3 months ago, I plan to coming back once I'm done with my school's final paper, but I think this is pretty spot on. The repetitiveness of the event and how each event always require you real money to get good stuff is getting pretty boring and exhausting. They've become greedier and greedier.
Awww, I totally understand, and although I'll miss your Time Princess videos- especially your "First Look" videos as I always used them as a guide to which stories I would choose to buy- I'm glad you are moving on from something that may not be as enjoyable anymore. I remember when I was looking for TP RUclips content and I found you. You only had a few videos but I was hooked and would eagerly look forward to your TP content as you were one of the only commentary TP/dress-up game content creators. Although, since then, your channel has grown and so has your content, from Life Makeover to Suit U and other dress-up games. I'm glad we'll still be getting content from you, in general, I just love your commentary and seeing people play dress-up/cutesy games! 💖💖💖 And especially with your live streams, I've been catching up to all of the ones I missed since I left the DU community. I often will watch your past streams as I play games. Also, thanks for talking about the concerns with TP. I wasn't able to play for almost a year and barely returned about a month ago. So many things have changed, the most evident one to me being the events. They've become less and less player friendly. I rember when they had the login outfits, I think there were balloon gachas, and especially the energy boost events. I think those were some of the easier ones. I do appreciate that with the coming of LM and more 3D dress up games, TP upgraded their customizations, it brought something a little more fresh to the table. I'm also concerned with the AI. As an artist myself, it's been very concerning. I've always been paranoid about posting art, afraid someone would try to steal it, now with AI, it's the most discouraging it's ever been. One of my favorite things about TP is it's pretty 2d art that you collect in it's stories and the secondary character sprite art. Recently with the new kitty minigame, I looked at the orange kitchen cat and remember telling my friend (was on vc) "Is that AI?" The legs looked off... I personally tend to be a picky reader in general, so up to this point I had only heard the rumors or speculations about stories being AI translated, now I've started to see what people might be talking about in terms of AI first hand. Idk how to feel about AI translations but seeing that it may be leaking to writing stories and art is so disheartening. 💀
With all that being said, I'm glad you were part of my/our TP journey! Your commentary, content, and everything really was always so fun to hear and watch. It was fun hearing you talk about your thoughts on stories and outfits and being able to share with you our own opinions as well. 💖🥰🤧✨

I think this is just bad timing 😅, and I was debating whether to write this or not as it may just be me overthinking something silly 🤧. I woke up a while ago and got on my computer because I was about to record a/some Time Princess video. I'm not trying to self promote btw, I know that's in your comment section guidelines but I can't help but feel paranoid. After all, I shared a similar mentality to you when starting a TP/dress up channel. I wanted commentary videos of people reading and showing their reactions as they read the TP stories. I haven't seen anyone do it so I made this account (the one I'm typing with). You were an inspiration for going and starting it after hesitating if I should make one or not. (I didn't make much content because I started it one month before going to University and that ended up taking most of my time and life💀). Now that I can play again, I want to make content again and started recording stuff for LM, TP, Roblox: Dress to Impress, etc recently (yet to post). Before I started recording, I decided to open up RUclips to check my channel when I saw you posted a video- being THIS very video. 🤧 I've been following you for so long that I just don't want to feel weird for starting TP content/channel when you are leaving it today. 😭💀 I don't know if you ever subscribed to my channel but I remember you commenting on one of my vids when I first started- so if by any chance you see some random TP content video pop up- I just don't want you to possibly think that one of your followers saw this video and was like- "Hamster Buttocks is leaving the TP community! It's time for me to make my move! 😈" I'M NOT- I promise- 😭 I just wanted to say that cuz the thought kept running through my mind and I'd feel bad if my fav dress-up youtuber saw some random TP video pop up on the same day she's leaving- 😭

for me I decided to quit LN 2 months ago.. I love a cartoonist (especially if its 2D art) fashion games... but as a new player to LN I feels just like a beggar.... begging association to accept me... always losing at fashion battle, not enough gold money... and whatever Hell Event other ppl said I can't even imagine it... like I know those ppl said to be patient, but how you feel excited about play a game if u always lose? whatever other ppl said, for me, LN is sucks, its not f2p friendly at all... the features is old too like when u hunt materials, other games already have the feature if u click 10x but u already have completed the materials it stopped... but in LN isn't & u wasted a lot stamina... I top up till VIP4 for this features & I feel like I've been cheated (if u play LN I bet u understand what I mean)
Now I play only Hello Kitty World II & Welcome to my Home (coz I ❤ cute & girly games) those fashion games always cruel to f2p player...
Honestly, time princess is so much fun if everyone prioritized playing it for the fun! Developers seem to only care about players that pay, and players are also persuaded by the bandwagon of getting rich.. or at least for my experience as a new player.
I vow not to target such expensive events anymore and just play for the stories, and get fortune to my own pace! I'm really enjoying "perfect storm" and collecting!

How unfortunate I just barely started playing this game not that long ago due to a free cash offer and I didn't realize how much of a really unique game this is I don't really care about the dressing up part but I do like the whole aspect of jumping into these stories and making so many different branching decisions although the consequences don't feel like they're that bad at all because you can literally just restart where you last left off so it begs the question on where's the challenge really it's unfortunate that the company decided to be this way and to not continue to make better stories I can only hope that eventually in the future maybe it'll get better or a predecessor will be released but I think this is a good concept and I've had a lot of fun playing it but I appreciate the video
That is literally why I dropped Shining Nikki. It isnt so bad, but there were too much events one after another and no chance to to dailies without waisting 3 hours a day. At some point you really start questioning why to bother. And all the sets are too samy for my taste. Same shaped big dresses which are hard to match with anything else. Anyway I hope other games would take notice

If shining nikki is anything like love nikki they dont even answer players when they use the help feature--not even players who have paid, so i would say they cant be better. Havent heard of or used anything like live makeover so dont know.
