Documents are a big problem. That's why I avoided any kind of "Development " the potential for fraud can be easily hidden in the paperwork. . The higher the cost the greater potential for shady dealings
I can’t imagine running the risk of ending up in a Nica prison no thanks they don’t coddle criminals down there. Best to keep your nose clean and enjoy the freedoms they offer or lose more than you knew you had.
Why anyone would not go out of their way to be on their best behaviour in a foreign country is beyond me… Maybe some Canadians/Americans I can see thinking that their immigration systems are being taken advantage of at home, and that gives them some right to do the same elsewhere. It’s ALWAYS better to do things the right way, and when it comes to immigration/migration - often things can be daunting, confusing, and time consuming, and people may look to try and cut corners, but it’s just NOT SOMETHING that corners can be cut on - it will absolutely bite you in the ass one day! Imagine being a retiree here who didn’t do things right, and at 80+ years old something like this gets you in trouble 😱
The bigger issue is the fake incentives. Outside the US there is super strong advertising claiming that coming to the US or Canada comes with all kinds of things that it does not. People move en masse because of the false promises that Americans don't see because it's targeted to the rest of the world. The US is convincing people that they will be rich if they come. that advertising makes people risk their lives for this dream that they have been sold.
for telling people about the new vaccine rules a few months ago. which ended up really funny because they checked it and verified it. so it really backfired on the people wanting to say it was wrong.
Dude, effing around with forged immigration status papers? You're in all likelihood dealing with people linked to cartels and god knows what. I'm sorry, but putting yourself in that situation would qualify a person for a Darwin award.
Unlikely cartels as those really don't exist here. It's mostly just little offices that know that they can make a ton of money easily from expats that don't do any research or apply common sense.
Definitely no such thing in Nicaragua and for gangs they are far and few in between. Gangs exists in small slums where they shut down the area in the evening cuz that’s when they start their trouble. But yeah don’t forget anything in a 3rd world country cuz it can ruin you.

My back up, back up, back up retirement plan is to be imprisoned in Scandinavia. Their jails are so nice!!! 😂
Meanwhile millions enter our 'home' countries illegally and get incentivised to do so.
